Shambles in Richmond upon Thames

Love love loved our visit here last week. The service was eccelente! and the food magnifico! We'll definitely be back.

Shared the panzanella salad which was a delicious dish & fritto - seafood with a very hot chilli sauce & then a large portion of tiramisu, which was very light & delicately flavoured. Definitely worth coming again with friendly prompt service.

Wow, superb from the food to the wine, from the decor to the atmosphere and from the service to the piano. Faultless.

I'm struggling to understand many of these reviews. Food was poor - pasta was undercooked and sauce bland, steak cooked correctly but incredibly oily. Service was barely polite. Piano player was good until he sang / gave running commentary....then just annoying. Expensive too.Go to 114, The Kings Head or Dolce Vita for a much better meal

Delicious and quality food with generous portion. Came here on a weekday for lunch with a friend, sat on the sunny patio surrounded by greenery. A delightful experience. Would come again for sure.

Enjoyed ourselves a lot here. Good food, good wine, stunning garden and dining area. Service was lovely too.

Now you're more than an Eton mess with a tiramisu.The decor is beautiful both the inside and outside. The staff are friendly and accommodating.Where do I begin? A friend and I discovered Shambles while walking down Teddington High Street back in 2014.We entered with only dessert as an interest. To our surprise, the selection of desserts was not only visually inviting but after one bite of their signature tiramisu cake, where they balance out the right balance of bitterness with sweetness. Their desserts are how my discovery began; fan favourites are the Eton mess and the tiramisu, which kept me returning until 2018, then a couple of weeks ago, we finally order a meal outside of traditionally ordering desserts first.Definitely recommend fried squid and the King prawns to begin your journey.Shambles bring back the Eton mess; it has a special place in mine and my friend heart.Until next time!

Lovely restaurant and amazing italian food! The staff is very friendly and attentive especially Melania she's a super star! Highly recommend!

We happened in by accident when looking for a lunch spot and were delightfully surprised by the vast gardens in the back under the wisteria. The food was superb and we will definitely be coming back. The tagliolini with summer truffles was a standout dish.
