We celebrated our sons 28th birthday food was lovely and staff were very friendly and accommodating

This was a treat! Really nice restaurant and the big portions of tasty food were fantastic. Doggy bag required. The staff were great and really looked after me. The gents toilet was nice and spotlessly clean. Would recommend.

We arrived to the Restaurant at 18:30 (I have provided evidence of this in the first image), after waiting over an hour and half, and after asking three times where our order is, our food finally arrived without any apology whatsoever, and even when the food did arrive, of course they mixed up some of the orders, not to mention the hair which was stuck to the plate!After almost walking out of the Restaurant and explaining that we're a regular customer, the Manager/Supervisor finally apologised and offered us a 50% discount which to me shows that only when they're at risk of losing money they decide to care and show respect of which we did not receive during the one hour and 30 minute wait.

Food was lovely, but when I phoned to book a table for 2, I informed them I was using a taste card 2 for 1 deal, they said yes no problem, but when we got there and ordered drinks and said I was using a taste card, they said oh sorry we don't use that here, so we stayed and had our meal as we were hungry, was very disappointed by this, will go somewhere else in future.

If there was ever an Indian restaurant to visit just once in your life it is this one. We even changed hotels during our first visit in two years so we could go for the second time. Gorgeous dishes, lovely staff and simply wonderful visit. Our thanks to the chefs and staff. You are brilliant. People of the South, you are blessed with this restaurant! Thank you Spice of India. We will return!

We went last night after the rugby. They had double booked our table so we had to wait over an hour to be seated. When we did get our table we had to wait another hour for the food to come. They forgot part of our order and we thought it was generally a bit overpriced anyway. Won’t be going back

Today we had a very good evening here. The food was really good we were 5 of us and every dish was amazing. Good portion sizes ( we even bought some home) Really good service and to top it up we were offered a complimentary drink! That made you feel really special and a good customer service. We will definitely be going soon again

Best Indian I've had so far in Hounslow - the lamb was tender in the lamb madras and the spice was spot on. The tikka chicken was very tasty and I also got poppadoms for free with the meal which was really nice. I'd definitely recommend this place to eat.Edit - biryani doesn't taste authentic when j tried it. Just tastes like meat and rice. Stick with the curries as they are lush.

Acceptable but not outstanding.The Spice of India is comfortable and has appealing interior decor.Service was average, as was the food. Nothing bad, but all the dishes had what tasted like the same, or similar sauce on them. Many other Indian restaurants offer tastier fare.

A delightful ethnic experience! We went on a kind of double date & the mood lighting is perfect for that. With screens for customer safety, would've been perfect if tables/entrance had hand sanitizers. But to make up for it was a warm welcome, complimentary Pappads (an Indian spiced cracker), attentive customer service, delicious food with flavours that really take you back home! Highly recommended, especially with the Eat out to Help out offer😊
