Best Indian Restaurant I’ve ever been to so far, I’ve got excellent customer service with excellent food quality. The service was very quick and efficient. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The food was very delicious, definitely going back there again.

I've chosen taste of raj a few times for take away and have throughly enjoyed it.the curry tastes sweet which I loved, it's the best curry I've had so far. I've yet to go to the restaurant, maybe soon.👍

Walked in expecting a warm welcome greeting but was met with distasteful sarcasm. I chose to look over it as I was looking forward to the food however I was in disbelief when it came uncooked. I’m not sure how this establishment is still allowed to run but I’m sure action will be taken

The absolutely worst so called Indian I ever had. They did not follow any of my instructions, and food was inedible. Very sugary sweet, and not at all spicy. I had written in comments box to make everything extra spicy with lots of fresh chilli, but none was used at all. So much money just for onions! I did not want to pay so much money for just onions. One prawn dish had seven tiny prawns. The otherItem they must have made a mistake, as just onions. It was supposed to be a prawn dish.Foul tasting food, what there was of it.Do not believe the raving reviews. Ended up in bin.

Great food and service! Been multiple times. A local favourite of mine. Maybe the best Indian food in Twickenham.

We have now been visiting Taste of Raj or collecting takeaways for 25 years! The dishes are first rate, service always prompt, the staff so kind and friendly, and nothing is ever too much trouble. We visited this weekend with friends and had a fantastic meal: I would highly recommend the stuffed peppers or onion bhajis to start, and the Shashlick and Tikka dishes which came sizzling to the table. Naan bread light and fluffy, everything hot and beautifully presented. Very happy atmosphere. Thank you for excellent service over the years.

Very lacking in flavour. The food delivered was different to that described in the menu. Based on this experience, it was one of the worst Indian restaurants of hundreds experienced. The dishes ordered were Onion Bhaji, Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori King Prawn Pasanda, Lamb Achari, Garlic Naan and Pilau Rice. Without flavour, the Onion Bhaji was like fried cardboard. The Tandoori Chicken had little to no marinade on it. The stand-out feature was not taste but red dye. The Prawn Pasanda was incredibly sugary which made it hard to taste anything else in the dish. The Lamb Achari was the one dish that wasn't off-putting. The Pilau Rice is described in their menu as: "Fragrant basmati rice cooked with ghee & saffron, milk & cardamom". The rice delivered was chewy, steamed 'rainbow' rice with grains dyed bright green. The mint sauces were large pots of sweet, green cream. I phoned them to ask if they'd like to remedy this and they said it is what should be expected.
