Cosy restaurant with Thai authentic food. A bit pricy but the portion is huge

Popped in for a quick lunch and had a pleasant experience; the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, my waitress was friendly and the lunch time 2 course meal deal was ideal.

We were in a large group of people and our food was a mix of fine to terrible. The duck served with our pancakes was as tough as leather and looked like warmed up leftovers (very poor) and I was annoyed when the waitperson tried to tell me it's supposed to be that way, which was a blatant lie and designed to test my extensive knowledge of good Thai food. My braised duck for the mains was succelent and delicious and almost made up for the poor entree. The Pad Thai was fine and I particularly enjoyed the Red Thai curry but overall this is passable Thai food, nothing special in the slightest.

It is hard for me to understand how two Thai Square restaurants, one in Windsor and one in Richmond can be so different ! Your Windsor branch serves the best Thai food I have ever had outside Thailand, unfortunately can not say the same about Richmond restaurant. We have ordered with my husband two different curries and both were strange, soup like consistency. My husband had to send away his red curry which had no flavor at all. Mine green curry was fine but chicken in it did not taste fresh. Disappointed!

Ordered a large quantity of food. Half of it arrived at my front door. Refused a refund for the order despite a main meal missing with no rice or sides out of an expensive order. Left on hold for long stretches of time, no apology and ultimately only option was to reorder the missing dishes at my own expense. Will never order from here again. Highly rude and incompetent staff.

food doesn't deserve the price. Sunday evening but the restaurant is pretty empty1. Pad thai tastes nothing and other dishes are too salty2. deceptive information - happy hour: didn't specify that it should be the same drink, just said they should be ordered the same time. So we have to pay for two drinks. Totally affordable but feeling being cheated. We ordered two "non-alcohol cocktail" from the menu, and then they explained it's called mocktail, but happy hours are just for cocktail. How ridiculous, the menu literally said non-alcohol cocktail.Well, not going again and not recommend it definitely.

Ordered delivery from this place today. Soup was too salty and pad Thai had zero flavor. I had to make my own sauce to make it taste half way decent enough to eat. Not only am I quite poorly today but then I tripped after revamping the food, cut my foot, and spilled it all over the carpets. Not my day I suppose. But the food was to make me feel better. It was VERY unsuccessful and only made my day worse. Will never order from here again!

Big fan of Thai food but this branch of Thai Square doesn't seem to hit it right, expensive meal, and the reason, particularly small portions. Starters particularly sparse. The green curry was prob the best of the food, but again small portion. I've had this in other Thai restaurants, but Thai Sq is expensive so you expect to leave full. Service good, just disappointing on food front.

Food felt very authentic. Decor superior to your average Thai restaurant.

If you like poor service, and eating in a clinical environment where despite a fairly good menu, the food is bland, boring and ... I can't think of another 'b' word. The food wasn't good at all, the 'aromatic' dishes were bland and the spiciest thing on the menu was plain rubbish. It's incredibly expensive, and the staff were more interested in checking their hair, and rushing us into making decisions than ensuring a pleasant dinning experience. #neveragain
