Enjoyed every minute of my stay here. Lovely room with balcony and large comfy bed. The bar was very atmospheric with fun and friendly staff. I ate a delicious full English breakfast sitting in the Atrium enjoying the sunshine. Have already booked my next stay !

Beautiful place and fab food. A lovely garden outside with great seating and a burger shack to boot. Good vegetarian/ 🌱 vegan options. Highly recommend.

Well fitted rooms and very good food.I stay her at least obce a week for business, this place does really have a home feel; the beds are comfortable, would reccommend.

Last week, I went to see the Pope for a Sunday Roast with some friends. The cuisine was excellent (a beautifully cooked roast beef), and the young waiters provided excellent service, making me feel at ease. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Ate lunch in the restaurant and my wife selected a club sandwich. It arrived with two slabs (literally doorsteps) of stale untoasted bread sandwiching some bacon, chicken, lettuce and tomato with mayonnaise. We have never been served such an awful, badly presented, ugly club sandwich anywhere in the world. It just confirmed to us the generally appalling standard of restaurant food in this country. A club sandwich should be presented with nicely toasted thin layers of bread and the ensemble held together with cocktail sticks in such a way that it looks appetizing and does not fall apart on the plate. My wife ate the filling but discarded the stale bread. I complained to the waitress and explained what a club sandwich should be like. She apologized but generally seemed totally disinterested in our complaint. The restaurant looks nice but if this is typical of their food offering then we recommend to take your business somewhere that knows how to prepare food.

It was probably their busiest day of the year with England playing at home but the service was still great. The burgers from the burger shack were spot on and went down well with a pint or three! Will definitely pop back in when in the area. A massive well done to all the team.

We paid for a large room and extra large king size bed however as the room had a window that wouldn’t stay shut, a missing curtain, broken lamp and water seeping through the bathroom floor we were moved to a new room which we were told was an upgrade however it was a smaller room and only had a double bed and the heating didn’t work unless you left the radiator on full all the time which made the room far to hot. I asked to speak to the manager but they decided the receptionist could handle our complaint. As for breakfast £12.50 for a full English which small and served mainly cold and £2.70 for the smallest glass of juice. The hotel is also located on a very busy road. Despite our complaints over the two day stay we were still charged the full price for our stay. I really wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at the hotel and it’s only saving grace was the receptionist who really did try to make our stay better.

This review is for the restaurant/pub not the hotel. My family and I came here recently for a meal together. We had booked a table well in advance and were excited for the experience. Our table was all set up when we arrived and the venue itself is very nicely set up and decorated. However the service and the food were mediocre. We waited a long time for anyone to come to the table, around 30 minutes, and eventually was able to flag someone down to take our order. Servers were nice enough but not very knowledgeable or forthcoming. The food just wasn’t great, my roast pork was dry and over cooked, all the appetizers were pretty similar with bread and cherry tomatoes all over. They ran out of the wine we were drinking then tried to offer us a different bottle for double the price. Just disappointed overall.

My husband, brother and I went for Sunday lunch last Sunday. The Pork belly is amazing. We booked a table away from other diners as my Brother is very susceptible to infection. After a false start we were shown to a perfect table in the corner, meal along time coming as very busy, but was very tasty. We will definitely be back.
