The King’s Head in Richmond upon Thames

Lovely food and lovely staff, I’ve always liked this pub but was infuriated to discover Camden Hells was not available and had been off tap for a fortnight. I had already queued for so long to get to the front that it was not worth going anywhere else but wish they had covered their pumps so I could have moved on immediately (but I guess that was the point).

Had a really enjoyable family lunch here - great food & friendly service as always (thanks Justin!) - you can't go wrong at the King's Head!

Incredible food and service. Dare I say some of the best bass I have ever eaten.Pistachio souffle is a must have dessert!Wheelchair accessibility is 5 star - Big disabled toilet, ramp is avalible to get inside resturant and the staff are very willing to help :)

Excellent food, service and ambience. Waiting staff are prompt and attentive, without bring suffocating. Always with a smile. Attractive, well kept restaurant, bar and garden settings. Menu carries a wide range of tempting dishes, without being a catalogue, good wine list. Recommend the sticky beef with coconut rice - lovely piece of braising steak in a wonderfully glazed sauce of ginger, lime and soy sauce.

Popped in for a drink and was cosy.Could do with more lounge style seating in the bar.The fireplace by the door is deceiving... you can't actually sit in front of it or you will the entrance!Would nip back in for another swift half!

A group booking has never been so easy - deposits were collected individually by the pub & we selected our food before we arrived. Place cards were printed with our names & selected dishes. We were given a separate space away from the main restaurant & had a lovely evening. The food was also delicious - I had roast turkey with all the trimmings & it was all perfectly cooked.

Delicious 3 course Christmas menu last night, we had the crab, potted salmon, turkey and choc mousse and were very impressed. Service was excellent too. Great little pub, so glad it's our local

Fine dining with excellent service. Food servings and quality has to be one of the best and such pleasing surroundings. Best to book in advance as you would expect with this gem of5 a place. Just leave time to find parking place. Has to be 5 star in my book.

A fabulous gastropub in the heart of Twickenham. Wonderful atmosphere, fabulous food and terrific selection of beers and spirits. The wine selection is not too bad as well.Hosting us for the evening was Annabel, who was fantastic. Truly excellent service from all of the staff.

I was a little disappointed with the service, as I wasn’t able to order food due to the waitress claiming she was too busy to come over take my order. However the decor and bar staff were friendly attentive. Will try go back for the food does look amazing. The garden is gorgeous place to have brunch.
