A local favorite (according to the a Hampton Court staff member)Pub with a vast selection of British beer and well prepared, tasty food. Relaxed and very friendly atmosphere.Several cozy corner tables. This Pub is across the street from Hampton Court. After a long misty day touring the Palace this was a warm and welcomed retreat.

Service was good, and pub is really nice inside. Food is very average, think Whetherspoons.Crispy squid was pretty greasy and had freezer burn. They can only do the burgers well done not medium, which means they don't meet the hygiene/processing standards to be served rare, so presumeably are from a packet. At £16.45 in a busy pub, it's a but odd they aren't making their own fresh burgers.Chips came out cold, but were quickly replaced.

We popped in for a pint after a wander around the Palace. We stayed for dinner and we were not disappointed!Beer was good, food was good, service was good and it was easy to park outside!

It will not disappoint you. Very hungry after visit Tulip festival in Hampton Court Palace. This bar and restaurant just on the opposite street from the Palace entrance, think it may be so so ( based on travelling experience in the tourist area). It’s totally wrong! The staffs are very friendly, food portions are very generous and taste good, price is reasonable. And they provide light lunch before 5pm. The decor, food, service…everything is good to me. It’s really a nice place !

Absolutely loved spending a sunny afternoon on the patio after a morning wandering around Hampton Court Palace. The drinks were cold and refreshing. The food was hot and filling. It really was a huge part of a perfect day.

Was here on a Saturday lunch time. Very nice and attentive service. We ordered some starters to share and the food was outstanding. Great selection of cask ales too!

Solid 4 star pub with classic fare and generous portions though let down by average desserts. We had mushroom risotto and squid for starters, roast lamb, mussels and gluten free streak pie for mains, and crème brûlée and rhubarb and apple crumble. The starters and mains were great. The crème brûlée was slightly heavy with the oil coating your tongue, while the crumble and fruit inside were undercooked and very sour. Very nice decor and friendly waiters

We went out for a meal with friends and sat on the ground floor. We had a few drinks first while we waited for our booking and were able to sit down 10 or so minutes before our time. The service was good and the food was excellent! I know we've not been out much over the last couple of years but everything I ordered was delicious. Whereas most places have 1 or 2 items on the menu that look inviting, most items on the menu at the Mute Swan look tasty. The food and atmosphere both contributed to it being the best night out for quite some time! I definitely want to go back soon and everyone else feels the same. Highly recommended!

Cosy, very attentive staff, no waiting at the bar, solid selection of beers and wines, and a nice selection of timeless board games available. Our meal was delicious, massively exceeding our 'pub grub' expectations. For our mains we had the Pheasant and the pie; both were exquisitely prepared, clearly freshly made, piping hot and well presented. For dessert we had the mango and passion fruit deconstructed cheesecake and the blackberry and apple crumble; again both were absolutely A*.Considering the experience, this was outstanding value with our food coming to about £50. I'll definitely be recommending this spot to others! Thanks for a lovely evening.
