Absolutely amazing customer service and really nice room.My partner and I got locked out of our house after coming back from central London. Although it was 1am, Orange Tree was the only hotel we managed to get hold of. Jack made it work and got us a room last minute. He waited for us to arrive and check us in even though his shift was over. Thank you again, Jack!

Lovely hotel, above a pub. Was 6 nations, but wouldn't have known. Room was huge, clean and a really nice bathroom with separate show and bath. Would definitely stay here again. No parking, hotel recommended NCP @40 a night, we parked at athletics club using just park for I think £14 and was about a 5 min walk.

Drinks & décor were nice, but food was utterly dire. Two of our party had roasts, which were appalling, and at £21.50 (also £1.50 more than the menu states) are probably 4x their value. I've never seen gravy with the colour and consistency of it. The rest of was equal quality. The table nearest to us complained about their food, and said it's the first time they've ever complained anywhere. I overheard a different table discussing their food also, and in very negative terms. If you want beers, it's fine, but for food, you're better off at literally any pub in Richmond - where the bar is set extremely high.

We tried to stay at this hotel but no rooms were available, just as well. We had lunch instead. We both had club sandwiches in the bar, chicken & bacon. They were awful. The bacon was a dry leftover and the chicken was hard lumps with skin. not nice. We did not complain at the time because the barman was very friendly and we didn't want a scene.

Went in there today the staff are lovely- I overheard the dismissive and rude way a member of staff who eventually identified herself as "the manager' spoken dealt with a customer - the employer of our friend who has stayed there the 2 nights before. He had been refused a breakfast and been told he was 'inarticulate' and "not very likely to be normal' merely for asking for a breakfast at 8.30 am . Our friends employer was summoned to pay a bill and how he kept it together I don't know she was so dismissive arrogant and condescending- she wouldn't let him pay at one point and said all she had to do' was cry and call the police and he'd never be able to show his face again!!' it was awfulAlso she claimed 3 months as the manger we and others drink there regularly - our friends employer lives in the place -and no-one has ever seen her - ever!. Theres been a huge turnover of staff and while the who we meet are always lovely this lady severely lets the side down . We will stay away until she's found out and removed. The bigger loss is our friends employer he uses the hotel and fills the place with his staff regularly- that will hurt Youngs I am sure . Great venue and products but the management is hardly very YOUNGS at all.Anna

Food was pleasant but service was dire. We were left untended to with our empty mains plates for about an hour, while our waiter lounged around. No time for dessert - we weren't even asked if we wanted any. Avoid if you want a half-decent experience. Also, meet the world's smallest side of chips - there were eight or so ragged, limp-looking things in a bowl barely bigger than the dip bowl.

Nice spacious room, very clean. Comfortable bed, good facilities. Lovely Italian next door, close to the centre, station, kew etc. No parking and parking in town is expensive so cost that into your stay. Recommended

A chilled afternoon over an exceptional flat white and pint or two! The bar attendant Holly, was a particular pleasure who went out of her way to create her first vodka martini for us, it was superb! Welcoming and warm hotel reception who organised a last minute room for us. It was the exceptional help from them both that helped us decide to have an impromptu stay. Fantastic base for Twickenham games.

Lovely pub. Beer was great. Service was tiptop. I didn't try the food but I probably would next time I'm in. Really friendly staff, especially Holly, who treated me like a VIP the second I walked in the door.

Absolutely fantastic visit for a Sunday roast. We went here after reading reviews about their triple roast option but when we got there, it seems that it was removed off the menu. However the hostess was the best and still got us a beef and chicken duo (along with a stuffed thigh) from the kitchen at a minimally extra cost. The food was delicious (esp beef dripping potatoes), the decor was good and the service was genuine and welcoming. Can't recommend enough if you're in the area!
