Friendly pub, in a nice setting in Teddington, by the River Thames. Decent food at prices what won't break the bank. Staff always welcoming , good choice of beers and non alcohol drinks.

What a great find! On a walk from Kingston to Teddington and headed across the pedestrian footbridge in search of a pint for me and a loo for The Lad! Was going to pop into The Angler but then saw this a bit further up the road. Lovely place, cosy, welcoming, super nice staff and wide-ranging beer selection. Family-friendly too. Another one for the 'Must Return To' List... Definitely recommended!

We visited for a planned friend's party. The staff we were friendly and helpful. A great selection of drinks, particularly for me as I wasn't drinking and the food was delicious!

Had a 3 course Christmas Dinner with my friends.The food was delicious and very hot .Service was fantastic and we didn't need to wait long for our food. The bar man even gave my friend a taste of 2 red wines so she got the best one. I have eaten there many times and the food is always good and great value.Would recommend this pub to everyone

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime although some of our party ordered from the regular menu. Couldn't fault a thing. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was excellent. Surroundings were lovely. Would highly recommend.

Nice little pub and a great location. Good food at a reasonable price with veggie and vegan options. Had the mushroom pie and it was good, although could do with a bit of gravy, but tasty anyway. Dog friendly - dogs are allowed inside and in the garden.

Went to Tide End Cottage again during September after a long walk. The food as always was delicious and the staff very welcoming.

July, sunny weekend, and still enough places for a group of 8 to sit and enjoy the food and beer. Food was great, great selection of beers, service was good and the secret garden at the back was a bonus. I really not sure why the pub next door is so full when this little gem was half empty, but we took it to our advantage.
