Treviso Restaurant in Richmond upon Thames

I visited this restaurant yesterday evening having heard great things about it. The food was delicious but unfortunately nothing else really worked: our table wasn't ready when we arrived although I had booked ahead; the wine I chose was not available; the main course I chose was not available; the second main course I chose was not available either. One of the waitresses was less than empathic and did not want to hear our suggestion that it would be good to tell people what was available on the menu before they ordered. It would have been nice to have been offered a complimentary drink or a reduction on the bill for the upset. It was the first day that they had opened after Easter and the disorganisation was obvious.

Thank you very much for fitting us in late last night! The food was amazing, wine tasty and your service absolutely brilliant. Not been going that regularly but sure will return soon. Thanks again 😊

pre-Valentines night early dinner - amazing chef specials as starters didn't skimp on the butter, her gambarretti (prawns) on crostini and my pan-fried sardines were perfect. Classic vongole linguine main. Lovely and quiet as we were in there early doors 6pm on a Sunday. This place is an absolute gem.

Great Italian cuisine. Thoroughly enjoy not only fabulous food but lovely ambience and relaxed, efficient service. A favourite.

Absolutely beautiful food cooked to perfection and sauces are delicious. Service is so laid back and professional make you feel like a friend and the restaurant is decorated to a high standard.

One of London's gems. I used to live around the corner from here and had the opportunity to go in and eat a little more regularly. The place itself exudes warmth and friendliness. It's the kind of place that makes you feel relaxed and ready to eat. Delicious selection of dishes and wine with the variety to cover any budget. It's not massive and whilst there's always someone in there eating you'll most likely be able to get a table.

An amazing authentic Italian. Friendly staff. Food was incredible. We had the ravioli and salmon. Ravioli maybe on the smaller portion, but still filled me! Atmosphere was lovely. Ideal for intimate evenings, couples or small groups.

Visited with a friend for dinner last night and despite lockdowns and hard times within the industry it was very uplifting to see the restaurant open and be a part of an amazing friendly service and very welcoming atmosphere just as before or even maybe more so. And yes, food is delicious as it always has been. A true local gem. Highly recommend and will be visiting again and again :)

Lovely little outdoor seating area (which is heated) and very friendly staff. We had the ravioli and the carbonara + a side of creamed spinach - sadly all three dishes were very salty, which is the only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5. You could tell the the food was well made and using fresh ingredients though, so it might have just been an overzealous chef. I'd definitely go back again.
