Fantastic little gem in the centre of Twickenham we stumbled across on Google reviews.Food was really authentic, tasty, good price and came out in a good time considering people in the restaurant.I loved the free soup was a lovely added extra - I will be back again!

Absolutely incredible Japanese food with friendly service. Can't recommend this place enough, the miso soup here is some of the best I've had in the area honestly! Great selection of food and huge ramen portions, definitely worth the money. Would love to revisit, might become somewhat of a regular myself!

Must visit when around Twickenham area and wanting some Japanese. Worth prebooking as usually busy, particularly over the weekend.The mains and sushi are great quality and served rather quickly & portions are slightly above average. We had 2 sushi rolls, gyoza, 2 mains & the aubergine for two which was plenty.In particular the Rock prawns and Miso aubergine where delicious.Excellent service which was very polite & attentive - definitely recommended!

Delicious food, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this place if you would like to try Japanese cuisine. Vegetarian and vegan options are available too.

decided to try this place after seeing the perfect 5 star ratings on google. must say the rating is definitely well earned. lovely food, great minimalist ambience, decent prices. the manager/owner was very nice, made conversation and made us felt welcomed. if you want great tasting food, this is the place

Absolutely brilliant, we called for a last minute booking.This was the best sushi I have ever had, the tempura starter was extremely well cooked, light batter and tender fish + vegetables.The sushi was brilliant perfect ratio of filling to rice in the rolls.10/10 will definitely be back again

Had an amazing experience dining here, would highly recommend it! We booked a table for later that day and although they were busy, they managed to squeeze us in. So glad they could - the sashimi was fresh and the sushi was delicious. Particularly enjoyed the dragon roll. The service was perfect - the staff were friendly, attentive and generous. Will definitely be back in future.

I was pleasantly surprised by Umi during my first visit: fried chicken was juice and tender on the outside and crispy on the outside, sushi and sashimi were fresh (tuna belly and mackerel not as good as rest but understandable as it’s a budget Japanese), mix tempura was also one of the best tempura I had, batter was light and crunchy. Salmon teriyaki bento was cooked to perfection too. Recommend 100% and definitely would revisit.
