Food is tasty but overpriced for what it is.. I had a falafel wrap which cost ÂŁ7.50 and in comparison to other places in the area its a lot higher. Other foods though are worth the price, just depends on what you get really.

Appalling customer service. The food was alright, nothing special and a bit over priced considering. The two staff that were working were not paying attention at all and also not communicating with each other. As a consequence their general attitude to customers was incredibly rude and they were snapping at customers rather than speaking to them.I had to queue up twice to pay for my food/drink because the staff weren't paying attention and both staff snapped at me for this. They had also forgotten parts of other customers orders. what a waste of my time and money.

Went in by accident around 12:00 today. The first thing that I noticed was the strong smell of cooked grease inside the poorly ventilated restaurant. The breakfast had been seating there waiting for me. I did not look appetising but against my better judgment, I ordered a veggie breakfast. The women forgot and threw in a pork sausage. When I reminded her of my order she asked me if I wanted to it removed… She had microwaved the cardboard plate twice. Once with the sausage and once it had been removed. To be clear, the eggs were dried out, the baked beans as the rest of the BF including the bread and thinly slides tomatoes cooked in meat fat were all past their best and to top it all, the coffee did not even make it to my taste buds or maybe this was because they were drowned in bad grease.

I love this store. It literally has the best cakes, brownies and biscuits. And the largest collection of teas!

Surprisingly unwelcoming staff for such a lovely place. First time I've visited in a long while, and it's different now. Grumpy customer service gives me zero incentive to ever return, or recommend.

The vegan muffins and cake were amazing. But the Hot chocolate is the best one I have tried so far!!!

Had the falafel wrap. The Falafel was ice cold, but otherwise ok. Average size.I paid ÂŁ8.70 for the wrap and a diet coke, which is way too overpriced, especially with the competition around.

Customer service is way too much trouble for these people. They seem to hate that customers are in their shop asking for food. They are consistently awful in this aspect, very rude. The actual food is not good either, in general it lacks flavour. You truly have to be “absolutely starving” to consider going here.

Sitting there to have some rest after long walk, seats wasn’t comfy. We had cake and tea which both was okay nothing special. Customer service was okay as well.

This was my fifth time in Absolutely Starving. And my last time. Members of staff never smiled and constantly with “what do you want” face expression. I would say it’s far too expensive for what you get. This time was exceptionally bad! Far from fresh and healthy. Literally throw up. Almost a centimeter thick layer of oil, dried up pasta. Is this the way to care about your business? You can poison your customers.
