Simply the best pie and mash in London and beyond. Nothing beats it. Lovely staff. Clean interior. Do wish they would have white pepper on the tables tho!

Went 3 years ago it was delicious,could have eaten two plates.Went yesterday and I could hardly finish it which for me is unheard of,it was very tedious to eat.Pie and mash is my favourite treat so to have spent what little money I have on the plate of food in front of me,my heart sank.Pies were tasteless,meat absolutely no flavour,the pastry was so chewy and hard both me and my son couldn't cut through and had a raw doughy taste,I struggled even with a knife,I was so upset I ordered a double.Mash non descript,but edible,I bathed it in vinegar and pepper and I forced myself.Staff work hard and are rushed off their feet and do their best,I could see fresh food constantly coming out,maybe different staff or a bad day since I last went.

Been eating in Arments all my life. The shop is clean. Beautiful food, tasty, very filling and not expensive. Staff are lovely always willing to help with anything. I would DEFINITELY recommend. Also had it delivered and it's well packed same high quality food.

Still better then Manze's!! Arment's does need updating internally though. Those bench seats are far too uncomfortable, you can't sit, chat and relax. It's more of an order food, eat and get out situation. But I will stick my ground they are better then Manze's pie and mash.

Probably the only one left still not following the supermarkets and putting gravy in the pies, the meat is cooked inside the pie.The Mash is not watered down so nice and heavy.The liquor is thick, and has improved over the last decade too.It's still worth a trip across London for.

I you read my posts you'll know I love pie mash.Told about Arments by my son, so glad lol.Went there for a take away, was thete 10 minutes before they opened, a member of staff said "not open yet but you're welcome to sit inside and wait" how kind.The Pie mash brought back great memories of my local pie mash shop that I grew up with, which sadly closed many years ago (Goodings of well street, Hackney)No wonder Arments have been there since 1914.The pies are cooked to perfection, mash portions as they should be and accompanied with Arments liquor bang on.Well single pie and double mash and liquor x 2 for under a tenner an absolute bargain.Give it a try if you love pie mash, your first time or you wanna try a different pie mash shop you won't be disappointed.Pic is 1x pie, 2 x mash and liquor (usually order 2 x mash as normally small portions) Arments large, bang on.

This is the most disgusting pie I've ever had. Hardly any meat inside and completely filled up with grease. Never again.

This place is absolutely amazing. A family run business thats been going gorgeous over 100 years. Pie and mash is a very simple and quickly served meal but it's so hood. The pies at Armenia are delicious. They have to be seen and tasted to be believed. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Not just pie & mash but an experience!!!Staff are so friendly and so nice!!! The place is full of locals and regulars.I am a vegetarian and asked for the veggie pie with mash. They asked me to wait for a few minutes. They have a really fast pace and people don’t wait. They order, eat and go.When my quorn pies were ready (yes, two of them), the lovely lady called me up and then told me to tell her after how it was.Great combination! The pastry is really delicious and the filling was amazing! The mashed potato and leek sauce were also amazing.The lovely lady told me to give them a call a few minutes before heading over there next time so they can make it fresh.Although my was heated from frozen, it was delicious and I’ll be going back for sure.
