Bagel King in Southwark

Lacklustre. Definitely not what they used to be but the queues seem to suggest otherwise. Each to their own I guess. Food was OK. Food & dessert - didn't pack a punch.

This place used to be great but now they charge £2.60 just for a cream cheese bagel not only that but I was innocently trying to eat in on the counters on the side during a quiet time and then the staff got really panicky and then sent over the security guards to kick me out out even though I just spent £18 in there it is a very hostile environment when there is no need to be like that when I was just trying to eat

I'm quite disappointed with the bagel at this place after reading good reviews. I ordered a hot bagel with filling. When I open the box I realised they have put the filling and bagel into whatever they use to heat together. The result is that the bagel came out extremely soft and completely lost the texture of the distinctive chowy bite that is characteristic of a bagel! Why would you heat them together?! The bagel should be toasted separately then you put in the filling. It was like eating warm, soft and now soggy bread.Another comment is that the bagel comes in cardboard boxes, while that might work for fillings that are whole like a schnitzel, it doesn't work for loose fillings like many this place offers like chicken. When you bite into the bagel, all the fillings fall out on the other side. The bagel should really be wrapped in paper and then cut in half for ease of consumption. I would not recommend bagels from here.

My ultimate bagel shop. Clean. Nice atmosphere. Great staff!! Huge range of fillings for bagels as well as patties, cakes, slushies etc. Absolutely lovely shop. Eaten there for over 10yrs.

It's a good munch but they consistently miss items on delivery. If you order a main, side, dessert and drink, don't be surprised if you wait 40 minutes for everything but the main to come.Edit: going through the reviews, it doesn't seem that Bagel King even understand accountability. They responded to someone's complaint about missing items with, "Sorry to hear that when there is items missing on Just Eat orders your point of contact is Just Eat they would need to deal with missing item claims". Yes, UberEats do deal with missing items, but really YOU are accountable for replacing missing items, not Uber. Everytime we make a complaint, we are one strike from getting banned by Uber.If you order from Bagel King via Uber, be prepared to be banned because you will make complaint after complaint after they miss after miss.

Great flavour with very generous size bagels and all the toppings you can think of. I had a chicken scallop and cheese one that was great.

I have purchased from this store a number of times via Just Eat. The last time over £7 worth of drinks was missing. When I tried calling the shop they have an answering machine telling you not to leave a message. I called Just Eat, they refused to give me a refund. They told me to contact the store, which I tried to do several times. I got the same voicemail. This is not customer service. Will not be purchasing anything from here ever again.

Good bagels and desserts. Can get very busy at late night! Open 24 hours too. Apple crumble used to taste better before but still not bad. Slush is really good too!

Loved my first visit. Will definitely go again and I went from E1 to get a Pattie. Yummy.

The best slushes and bagels in town, they have a queue outside at all times for a reason, people go crazy for this place! I had a grilled jerk chicken bagel with cheese, when I took my first bite I thought I was in heaven! Also make sure to try the Ox tail stuffed garlic buns, with the special Sauce they have, it is amazing! 😍 Defo recommend this place 👌🏽
