Excellent venue in the beautiful Hays Galleria, right on the river by London Bridge station.Really friendly, professional staff, lovely food and drinks. We always go on Thursdays as they have a great DJ who plays all our requests. A really fun and lively after work night out. Definitely going back 😊😊😊😊

We hosted our work Christmas party at The Alexander Hay in Feb 2022 and my feedback is nothing but positive. The venue were so accommodating, especially around us having to reschedule due to Covid restrictions. We had a buffet for food including dessert and all the food was delicious, something for everyone. Adam was our contact at the venue and he was brilliant, always friendly, helpful and on hand to answer any questions. The rest of the bar staff on the night were also really friendly and quick to serve. I would 100% recommend The Alexander Hay for any work parties or drinks after work, it's a really nice venue. The DJ was also great! Thank you for everything in helping our event go off seamlessly.

Such a chilled atmosphere. Great pub food, good beer and amazing 'Old Fashioned' cocktails. Excellent customer service too. Highly recommended

I booked an area for up to 25 people for my engagement drinks and I was hugely disappointed and felt embarrassed to have booked this place for all my guests. The bar staff were rude to everyone for no apparent reason. One waitress consistently rolled her eyes and was huffing and puffing every time anyone ordered a drink.I went to order a drink from the happy hour menu (rose prosecco) and after opening the bottle and bringing the glasses to me at the bar, she then says 'we have taken this off our happy hour' - Is that even legal? She demanded that I paid full price. This happened to several of my other guests. I was so embarrassed by this! On top of all of this they would not sell any of the normal prosecco bottle to any of us even though we can see that it is available. We were told it is only for those that pre-booked it. I was not made aware of this when I made the booking.I also ordered some chips at the bar and when the waitress came out with food for some of my other guests, I politely reminded her that I also ordered some chips. She snapped back at me and said 'I only have two hands, I will get the chips after' - I only mentioned it to her because there were a lot people and she may have not known who ordered it. After all of that, she bought the chips and left it on a random table. By the time I realised it was there, the chips were stone cold. I was so disappointed with the overall experience and felt the atmosphere and service just ruined my engagement party. I will definitely not be returning here.I was prompted to leave some feedback via email and when I did, they didn't seem bothered. Just sent me a generic automated email about being sorry I had a bad experience. They asked that I call the venue to discuss further. I was certainly not going to call and speak to the same people that were rude to me and my guest! There is also no way of making a complaint to a head office or any sort of customer service agent.So the moral of the story is... Just avoid this place all together if you can. Especially if you are planning to book an area for a group booking.

Nice place, good festive ambience. Didnt have a booking but signs on the table to say you can sit until the reserved time but even though there were tables that had 1hr + until they were reserved we kept being told we needed a reservation and fully booked- didn't make us feel very welcome for our custom! Cocktails were noce enough for a very cheap central London happy hour!

So disappointed. It has a great location but food was awful and variable levels of service. Dirty tables everywhere. Cleared our own table of plates after waiting ages. This was only a Weds evening…

It's a great place to look around, especially if you want to get out of the cold and the rain ...and there is lots to look at. I wish, however, the hospitality side was a bit more interesting; the cafes and resturants lack any imagination whatsoever, especially considering how much foot traffic there is

Was such a lovely and fun experience! Great staff especially Adam, always catering to us and making sure we were all well and enjoying our time! Would definitely recommend for those that would like a enjoyable day/evening or an after work drink!
