Used to be great but owner has increased his price of cod several times of the year and also has change cod supplier. The cods have now become very small and more expensive. Owner always tells me it's hard to source cod but we all know that is untrue. If you want to get some real fish and chips go to 166 Jamaica Rd, Bermondsey, London SE16 4RT fish bar there cod sizes are unbelievable large and cheaper, you will be supprised. Go check them out for yourself.

The chips are amazing man, I only ever ordered sausages (saveloy and battered) with my chips which I reckon could be better, but they are 100% better than the average chippy. Would recommend any time to any one.

Great price range to suit everyone.Good food. Great choice for different sizes of portions for kids and adults.Friendly staff.Berts is a proper chip shop and sells proper chunky potato chips and fish.They also have chicken and chicken wings,two different type of savloys,mushy peas and pies etc. Fair size menu/option to choose from 🖒

Not happy with the quality of food i was served the chip looked like it was over cooked and old the cod fish was soggy and cold sausage in butter was burnt the savoloy was testless. It cost me over £8.00 which went in the bin. Never again.

Good freshly cooked food, have been there a couple of times already and as a fussy and demanding customer when it comes to my food I am really happy and I will be back again!!! Can't complain!

Very nice food. For me it is one of the best Fish and chips from London. The price and the size are amazing a large meal this is for two people. And not least the quality of the product everything fried almost in front of you.
