Black and Blue Steakhouse in Southwark

Tiny quantities, incorrectly cooked, and poor tasting for the price. The steak was inexplicably a small, well-done ball. Amazing toilets with accessible lift facility though, one very friendly member of staff - the rest were miserable. Maybe they were having a very off day.

As usual the food and service was 100% this is the 4th time here and it was nice to celebrate my 15th wedding anniversary with my husband xx

Unfortunately I wasn't impressed by Black & Blue. The seasoning and flavour of the steak was very average, it didn't wow me at all. The staff were friendly but not attentive, we had to get their attention each time we wanted something...even after asking for the bill and making a payment!I've reviewed a few steak places - Black & Blue doesn't make the top 5.

My first time here, won't go back. When we showed up we had to wait a few mins before a member of staff even came over to us to be seated. After we were sat down some vomited all over the place up the stairs , we was next to the stairs and saw it all . After a while we were given the option of moving to another table , better late than even ..We had a number of different servers come to our table , no friendly customer service by anyone, we were missing extra sause we had ordered with 1 of the servers, I saw one of the ladys give out to the other over us not getting it. Made us feel awkward. We only managed to order 1 drink as no one bothered to ask us at any point in the evening if we wanted more . The food itself was nice but the overall experience was poor . For the price I would go else where

Asked for rare and medium rare- steaks were out pretty quick—too quick! They had clearly not been rested plus the peppercorn sauce was poor. As our check back was late and we were hungry we ate what we could. The hostess took off the service charge and discounted the meal. I was just expecting more . Pretty disappointed.

Our first day in London ever...walking around the Borough Market District we came across Black and Blue. Staff was amazing as well as the atmosphere... what was most surprising was the menu from top to bottom. From the salad to the steak and salmon and desert was perfect. A nice selection of wine to go with our meal made the evening. You absolutely cannot beat the price of what we we experienced tonight. We highly recommend it!

Fantastic, first visit and won't be the last. Service and food fantastic. The artichoke starter is special! Steak frites perfection. Highly recommended.

Having eaten here once before, we had a rough idea what to expect. While we did miss the set menu from before, the food and drink was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Wow!!! Not sure what else I can say.. the food was amazing!! I had fillet steak and the Mrs had rib eye and both were cooked to absolute perfection!! Both melted in the mouth and tasted supreme!! Amazing selection of cocktails on offer and the price over all was well worth the quality.Staff were attentive and great.. couldnt do enough for us..When we are back in this part of London this will be our absolute go to steak House!!
