Crazy flavour batman hot chocolate lovely feather in my caramel latte friendly staff very clean facilities

Staff on tills were rude to fellow employee who was new to the workplace. Laughing at her and speaking in their own language in front of customers clearly making her feel uncomfortable. Disgusting behaviour.

·

I have been many times always good coffee outside seating area could do with better attention to customer experience

·

Always good place to go. Exceptionally well mentained providing the fact that it is located in one if the buisiest areas of London. I visited on Sunday afternoon, probably the buisiest time but the service was still excellent. Thank you

Everything you hate about national chains, staff act like they don't want to be there, one aweful toilet and like warm drinks. Someone at head office needs to sort it.

. Careless Staff. Tables left dirty. We had to clear a table ourselves while staff were chatting. And we spent more than half an hour upstairs without seeing a single member of staff coming to clear and clean tables! Downstairs the large room has no heating. It was freezing cold in December. Management are not doing their job and this is affecting this company's reputation.

This place has so much potential! But sadly it is not being managed and run efficiently.I have been coming to this location for a number of years. I can see the negative changes especially in the last 6 months.Positives:Location and views are great.Space and seating, especially upstairs is great. When you can get the coffee ☕ you want it's nice.Sadly the negatives out weigh the positives!Negatives:The toilets are not good, especially whilst we are still in a global pandemic. Not clean or nice. There is no plastic screens at the counters. They broke and they could not bother to replace them.WiFi is pretty much none existent or very unreliable. In 2021 .... its not good enough. There has been a lot of work done to improve broadband connections in this area of SE1 in the last 18 months. So if they where bothered they would make improvements.Looking at other customers reviews this is a common problem that's not been addressed. The 'not so lovely toilets' are near the fridges, behind the counter. They are not well signed. I would say 60 to 70 % of visitors have problems locating the toilets. They need clear signs and clean toilets 🚻A lot of people walk up stairs unnecessarily look for the toilets, which are on the ground floor. Again more signs needed to help customers. Often the fire exit door on 1st floor is mistaken for the toilet 🚻.In the last 6 months there has been a large staff turnover. Often trainee staff are teaching other trainees. Whilst the much more experienced staff are in the little office or clearing plates. This is not fair on the new trainee staff who need support. This inevitable effects the quality of service and customer service. Which frankly seems secondary & not so important.Especially a peek busy times the experienced staff should be supporting the trainee staff. It can be a very stressful for staff at the till and this is easily picked up by a customer.Communication is also more of a challenge because of mask wearing. 😷 Staff who are probably already stress don't have a lot patience in trying to communicate with customer who are mask wearing.Customer & que turnover seem more important, than good customer service. If the experienced staff would help more, that may help ease the uncomfortable & negative till area. They can manage the cues better. The store needs to make greater efforts to becoming wheel chair friendly. ♿.Out of the two entrances into the location one has a step and one does not.But in order to use the toilets you will need to overcome a step or two.Again it's 2021 .... just not good enough! This place use to be sooo much better! It is such a shame!I would not be surprised if it doesn't close in the next 6 to 12 months.

Delicious coffee and cakes. Nice views from the first floor. Great place for relaxing and working with laptop. Comfortable chairs and big space. I definitely recommend the Caffè Nero 😊

Really lovely Cafè with friendly staff , plenty of space and yummy treats. It is also a good spot between historical monuments. There is also a good view view of Golden Hind and remains of Winchester cathedral. A great chance to have a break between great historical locations and busy crowds.

I liked this place...good to relax, it has upper deck too. Excellent view on the Golden Hinde sailship (a replica, featured in the Shogun mini-series). Friendly service. A bit away from the main road, right on the river bank, sourrounded by the office buildings, bridge and a church nearby. Tends to be busy in the morning and generally peak times. Definitely reccommended for a café ambient lovers.
