Canada Water Cafe in Southwark

Our visit was tainted by the manager's rude manners. Out of nowhere and very abruptly we were given the bill and were told 'we need the table', nothing else. No explanation, no apologies. Having spend money on food and drinks, this felt uncalled for and unnecessary. Really ruined our evening. Food is nice, on the expensive side for a small cafe. Waiter was nice and friendly. Pity about the manager.

My wife, son and I had the pleasure of lunch at this cafe yesterday. It is always a good sign when a cafe is full of customers so it was fortunate that we had made a booking. We each had a different pasta and they were all delicious and piping hot. The three different desserts we had were also excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive, always on hand when we needed them. I would have given the cafe six stars if I could.

Lovely place, cozy inside even though it can get very crowded and with very little space to move around. Food was very delicious and with prices that were not bad at all. The atmosphere is great and waiters are all really friendly and caring to you. Perfect place for a brunch. Natural juices are available as well which they prep on the spot for you, and they're really tasty. Great experience overall, will definitely return

Sunday midday, so was busy but didn't have to wait long for table - nor were we encouraged to leave when we'd finished eating, so was relaxing. Excellent oozing poached eggs, great coffee. Good service, fine with non-standard menu requests. Nice atmosphere. When we left we said shame it's not our local!

Gorgeous brunch at this busy cafe. Staff friendly and professional. A little gem with good menu and good service. There was a wait for a table but we were kept well informed as to how long which was about 15 mins. Definitely worth a try

Dissapointed. For an upper market cafe the service was below mediocre, staff let us sit there for 10 minutes before explaining their menu protocol.We then waited 15 minutes for 2 coffees to come out luke warm. After sending one coffee back the replacement took the entirety of our breakfast to re arrive.Food was superb. Presentation was on point.Staff gave us funny looks on arrival and made us feel uncomfortable as if we were not welcomed, maybe this was why the service was so poor and unnatentive.Will not be returning which is a shame because the food was very nice.

Had a lovely afternoon at CWC, and Simone the waiter was great! He made us a bespoke cocktail when we couldn't decide what to have, and really made sure we were looked after. Excellent service and perfect cocktails - thank you!

I love this little cafe! Conveniently placed close to the Canada water underground station, the place gives off little cafe in Italy vibes. The food is absolutely delicious, well made and fresh with fast service even on busy days. The Bruschetta with ricotta cheese, sundried tomatoes and basil pesto was to die for. I'd also recommend the Berry cheesecake, absolutely indulgent. I love this place!

Very disappointed to come and be told that no Full Vegan Breakfast is available anymore while ordering despite it being on the menu outside the restaurant. An alternative is a Little Vegan Breakfast - restaurant decided vegans need to loose weight?! Would be nice to see more concern for vegans and sustainability in 2022...

Great cafe and restaurant right next to Canada Water station. They have the loveliest staff who are so helpful. Delicious food. We had breakfast and gorgeous coffee. About 20 indoor tables and also about 15 outdoor tables. Wheelchair friendly, child friendly. They have a great lunch and evening menu too. Well recommended.
