Caravaggio in Southwark

We held our post wedding registry luncheon at Caravaggio for 55 guests. The service of Fernando and his team was brilliant.They catered a wide range of dishes for our guests which were all excellent. Portion sizes were very generous as well.Fernando decorated the room very well with simple decorations. He pays attention to detail and listened to our requests.This is a lovely "Italian" restaurant. A gem in London. Would advise anyone to hold functions/parties here. The food is tantalising and the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant are homeley and warm.Caravaggio made our special day incredible with tasty food, excellent wine and a warm 😊 from all the staff!

Very good traditional Italian restaurant. Excellent with children. Very accomodating (e.g. happy to make my pasta with no chillies).

My brother Vincent introduced us to this fabulous restaurant. The food is fabulous, the decor is tasteful. They serve haute cuisine dishes at very reasonable prices and have an excellent wine list. Very friendly staff. One of a kind, highly recommend.

Been coming here for years, staff are an extended family but always professional. The team here are why people come back, although food is always fantastic too. Generous portions, delicious and great menu choice. Always recommend Caravaggio to people.

We had our Christmas meal for work there this week. The food is exquisite. They aren't cheap.... because it's quality. The staff are amazing and funny. The service is second to none. We've been a few times, and will always go back for a quality night out.

I hadn't been for a few years but it was comforting that the atmosphere was still as friendly and relaxed as it always was. The food and drink were great. The portion sizes are really good and definitely value for the money. Love it.

We've been here a handful of times, and it's hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Fantastic service, the staff came and chitchatted to ensure everything was amazing. They were also kind enough to get the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday to me. Other than that; the food beats anything I've ever eaten, even my picky-eating daughter was excited about the food.. ..and they got my medium rare stake cooked to perfection.

Absolutely loved it! Had gone just for the chocolate fudge cake but was pleasantly surprised with other courses and service too.

Came here just before the second lockdown. Very delicious and fulfilling meal! We had a little mix up with the order and got some king prawns we did not order for appetizer, but it turned out to be a good mistake.Linguine with clams, two risottos and margherita pizza were all delicious. Finished with classics tiramisu and torta del nonna.

Simple and wholesome and filling. Old school Italian. We’ve enjoyed coming to this restaurant over the years. The food remains constantly decent and the service is consistently professional.
