I recently got a Take Away from here. Use to be lovely food. It's the first time I have been there since they ŕe opened. The first thing that got my attention was I received my food within 5 mins of ordering it which means it definitely wasn't fresh. The prawn toast was just basic and greasy. There chicken curry flavourless and very runny. The rice was the only thing that was edible. The worst bit is it cost me £31.00. If somewhere is going to charge prices like that then there food should be exceptional.Food standard has definitely gone down hill since they have re opened.Very disappointed will not be returning again.

Went here to celebrate a birthday.Service was awful. 2 hrs to order food, then 2 of us were forgotten and staff didn't even take our order. Food was average and tofu poor. Overpriced . Very disappointed. Looks nice inside, but that's about it. Hugely overpriced for bland food.So disappointing. Would have walked out, but were with a party. Will not return.

Decent dim sum and mains 👌a little on the small side the size of the dimsums, but it's fine. Fair prices. Obviously prices are gonna go up because of inflation and brexit compared to last year but the rice and congee dishes are extremely cheap in my opinion compared to many.Only downside is the dim sum is slightly small and empty in fillings compared to many other dim sum restaurants I have grown up eating at. The taro croquettes (wu gok) were very empty inside with mostly batter on the outside, least it wasn't overly greasy. Same with some other dim sum dishes too, they were much smaller than I remember having as a child in Manchester/Liverpool

Excellent Chinese restaurant at Elephant and Castle. I've been coming here for years and have just been back for the first time since a worryingly long closure during the pandemic. I'm please to report it's still as good. It's a huge restaurant and reasonably priced for the quality of the food and service.

Came here in December 2021. The initial service was good, however, once food was delivered, the waiters rarely checked on us and it was hard to get their attention for further drinks/food.When we received the bill, we spotted that we had been overcharged by over £200.... If we had been drinking more we may have missed that! When it came to paying, we were told we could only split the bill using 3 cards. Not ideal when there's over 12 people at the table and we don't all have each others bank details to transfer cash. This should have been explained to us at the start of the meal/on the booking confirmation. We had to complain in order to allow us to split the bill equally amongst all people.Food was very tasty and the portions a good size. However, the service let the restaurant down. Hopefully there'll be improvements.

So disappointed after reopening! It was cheaper than Chinatown but now so pricey and not good quality. The service is better than before but the food we got was disappointed.Congee was no taste at all, it’s so bland. Cheung Fun was overcooked the noodle wrap was too soft and gooey. Vietnamese spring rolls were too small, it’s tiny now! I’d rather go to Chinatown for better Dimsum. Before lockdown: Not as good as Chinatown Dim sum but the Best Dim sum in this area. I have lunch here regularly. The food is good but the service not so much. Waitresses are ok but the old guy always has poor service. We like fried dough Cheung fun here, Chasiu bun is also good but a bit stingy on the filling.

The dishes taste good, but were a little bit salty.

Absolutely loved my experience. The staff are polite and attentive. The cocktails are amazing and the dim sums warmed my heart. Definitely a place to visit!

Dragon castle closed for so long after covid happened, we were so excited to go back after it reopened. HOWEVER, it was so disappointed!!! Everything is more expensive now, it was cheaper than Chinatown but not any longer also with not good taste anymore, and the waiting is way too long, I was full because I drank too much tea while waiting…..

Had the best dim sum here in London so far ! Prices were reasonable, food was delicious and hit the spot! Egg tarts and rice rolls were great, dumplings were silky and flavourful. Service was alright, but typical of Chinese restaurants - Straightforward, curt but efficient and no nonsense. Another good point is that this restaurant is huge and spacious, not cramped, with nice interior decor. Looking forward to my next visit
