Fowlds Cafe in Southwark

I love Fowlds! I’ve been going there for years and the staff are always polite and friendly. They make great coffee and stock beautiful pastries and have kept their little general store bits and pieces they started to carry at the beginning of the pandemic.

Disappointed with this place. Normally you find independent coffee shops go the extra mile than franchises would. However, expect to pay £3 for a coffee that comes in a small size and is lukewarm. In addition the Almond Croissant that I was served was rock hard and had clearly been there for several days. Bit of a let down really.

Cute café, tucked away in a cute Street right next to the park. Great small selection of snacks and sandwiches and produce. Most importantly of all, great service with a smile. So friendly. And pups get treats too.

Come here all the time when I go for a walk around Burgess Park. Coffee is great and so are the cakes! Good vegan options. Recommend the lemon drizzle and blueberry cake. Bought bread here once and it was amazing. Prices are a bit on the higher side.

Good coffee, tasty pastries and the sandwiches... Very nice! Fowlds cafe is amazing and the staff are awesome too. For years I've walked passed this cafe and never blinked an eye at it.... Now its my go to definitely place!!

A little local gem!Coffee is a good quality, the cakes are gorgeous!We are so lucky to have this place as a local coffee shop.Takeaway coffee and a naughty cake on Sunday morning, then walk in the park has become our routine.During this Covid19, they have prepared soo well that i feel also safe to visit.

Such a cute cafe. Friendly & charming. I love that it’s still retained the feel of the old building - feels like its good a story and a part of old London :-) coffee was super good too. Really enjoyable. Cakes & food looked tempting too, so I’ll have to go back for sure.

Quaint busy little (and I mean micro) cafe just off the Camberwell Road. £2.30 for an Americano, £4 for a Ham and Cheese croissant. Staff were friendly, had to search for the breakfast menu which wasn’t next to the counter. It’s on the wall immediately on the right when you walk in the door?! Very healthy menu including veggie options. Nearly every breakfast dish had avocado in it which probably says more about the clientele than the chefs lack of imagination. Coffee was tasty but I’m sure the milk they gave me was an almond milk and not cows milk. Luckily I don’t have a nut allergy having not been told about the nut based milk. Decent cafe for a quiet coffee if your passing.
