Extremely rude & racist staff. My friend WAS a repeat customer until tonight. We go there and had a friend want a to go order for another friend. She asked if she could have egg fried rice and she’s if they could add chicken and cashews to the rice. The guy over the counter tells her that it’s a separate order. She asked do you mean I have to order it separately or that’s another item on the menu. The guy acts out because she asked for cashews and chicken. I don’t want to repeat his childish behavior but will gladly say we won’t be back. If you want to be treated with respect then please take your money somewhere that actually cares to be a descent human being.

Quick and good food. Reasonable price and the quantity is quite large. The bad thing is that they only accept cash. 1 additional pound for eating in. I'd visit again for having a quick take-away food.

Pretty good for a takeaway. I got the braised beef, vegetable ho fun and the di san xian (potato peppers and aubergine). Like a takeaway in China. Ho fun was tasty and packed to the brim. Each dish was worth the price and quite authentic in my opinion. Would order from again.

This is possibly one of the worst take aways I’ve ever had and I can’t quite believe that Deliveroo have them on their site. We ordered a variety of things for a group of us and the only thing that was vaguely edible was Beef Ho Fun Noodles, the rest was pretty dreadful. The worst thing was some Peking Chicken which was soggy and in the most disgusting gloopy sauce but nothing, not even the rice, was particularly good. I will never order from this take away and regret diverting from our trusty and somewhat average local.

Ordered the prawn wonton soup from here - when it arrived the wontons were filled with pork. We rang the restaurant to complain as neither of us eat pork and we were told that it was our fault as we should have known that this dish contained pork, despite it not being advertised on the website. The owner rang us twice more to shout at us and say we should have known, and tried to refuse replacing the food. He also requested the partially eaten wontons back. Don’t eat here, absolutely terrible service.

Ordered Takeaway from here as they had a nice varied menu compared to similar places on deliveroo. Food arrived quickly but the duck only came with the pancakes (no hoisin, spring onion or cucumber) so I rang to complain as it is listed on the menu with all the dressing. I was told to wait on the line whilst the guy just yelled at the kitchen staff in Chinese. I was told “I will send it for you again” which I took to mean the quarter duck this time with all the accompanying parts. I waited 10 minutes and was called to answer the door but no one was there. I called and they told me he was round the corner. So I had to stand outside in the cold for five minutes to wait for this guy to find me all, so it turns out, just to give me a box of spring onion and and measly helping of hoisin. Pretty poor service if you asked me - how hard can it be to remember the key components of one out your most popular dishes? Will not be ordering from here again.

Average food (a bit bland and overcooked), large portions at fairly cheap prices. I probably wouldn't wouldn't go back as the service was rushed and the atmosphere was uncomfortable. We sat down to eat, but the front door was broken so a cold draft ensured we remained freezing throughout our meal. There were three delivery drives going in and out every 10 minutes so the restaurant was really cold! I actually wanted to go to Silk Road restaurant but it's closed for the Xmas and new year period.

Delivery was half an hour late and ÂŁ38.20 of not very tasty food. I had to call up to tell the takeaway the spicy salt and pepper tofu, chicken balls and sesame toast were too dry and rubbery. They sent out a replacement, which the dishes way too greasy. The noodle dishes were nice. Overall disappointed with our meal. I wouldn't be ordering from place again.

I read the negative post and was a bit cautious about trying the food, but I'm glad I did. It's basic Chinese/English food without all the frills and at a reasonable price. If I'm back in the area I will definitely be eating there again.
