Ganapati in Southwark

Excellent food but rushed service. Didn’t really feel like they cared about us at all, we were asked to order our mains three times before finishing my first drink. Desperate to get us out the door which made it difficult to enjoy the food or feel comfortable to be honest.

Not your average curry house! Delicious small menu with loads of great vegetarian and vegan options, but also meat for those that want it.The bread is incredible.

Have been here only once (and can’t wait to come back). Have had takeaways multiple times. The food is awesome rich in flavour and textures. Service is very friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Will be back.

Simple and basic venue but food is delicious!! Clearly a very popular restaurant so booking is advised. First visit Sat 8th Jan but will definitely go back.

Wow the paratha here is so buttery and soft and delicious. Might be the best ice had yet. Curries are a bit on the spicy side despite being called mild. However overall a really nice restaurant with welcoming customer service!

Good portions and authentic flavours. The prawns and street snacks starters were absolutely fantastic. The masala dosa was a generous portion and also delicious. The venue is nice and cosy.Missing 2 stars because the waiter was a bit rude - not sure why as I would think it would important to keep diners coming back. It would be the only reason I’d hesitate going back - don’t want to be paying money so that the waiter can be rude to me. No reason for it either. All happened when I was paying the bill. Shame as the food is very good.

Will visit again. Had the vegetarian Thali. Waiters very attentive and informative about the menu. Love the massive (I think?) banana tree in the back. Interior very colourful and inviting. Clean. Food great!

Good golly gosh, Ganapati is gorgeous.This has to be the most tasty currys I have ever eaten in my life. I ordered the nilakkal fish curry, which was sensationally delicate and packed heaps of flavours which all balanced together in a perfect manor. With each mouthful I could not believe how unbelievably delicious this tasty treat was. My partner had the vayalar aubergine masala which was equally delicious and delicate in flavour. Not only was the food fantastic but the customer service also was incredible, Giada was very informative and recommended some of her favourites on the menu which did not disappoint.All in all this place is not to be missed, but should be celebrated.10/10P.S get the flatbread

This is without question one the best curry's i have ever eaten. My family and friends turned up without a reservation but Tom was simply outstanding, he sorted a table for us within 5 minutes and with Laetitia the both of them made our evening that much more enjoyable. Can not recommend this place highly enough keep up the great work guys.

I've been craving some southern Indian food and Ganapati didn't disappoint. We ordered everything vegan on the menu and it was all incredible! Deffo will be back!
