Golden Delight in Southwark

Excellent! Their food is always on point and fresh. I have been buying a takeaway there for over 20 years or more and the quality hasn't gone down at all. Love the food

Golden delight is a delightful and respectful conduct and the clean environment and all this is our prepared right in front of your eyes and they are essentially wanna greatest Chinese takeaway chance to eat there food

It’s Monday, January 31, 2022 at 12noon. I was in the mood for Won Ton soup and 1 egg roll. I ordered my food and every time I order from this fast food restaurant it’s a different price. I took a menu and added up my food. Low and behold, he overcharged me $2.25 for 2 items. I canceled my order and called him a crook. I received my money back and will never return.BEWARE OF OVERPRICING!!!

The lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude and told me that she was too busy to listen to my concerns about the delivery driver. When my partner placed the order, the lady stated the delivery time would be 30 minutes , he nipped out to collect the cash and the driver came in 15 minutes. We had to wait 4 minutes for my partner to return with the cash. Whilst waiting, the driver was becoming more and more agitated and aggressive. Not great when you are a female on your own!! To be fair I think that he was genuinely worried that he was going to be late for his next delivery. I called the lady to explain because a I did not want the driver to get into trouble on our account but she shouted at me. Order food at your own peril.

The food is good but unfortunately the service is horrible. They're no longer on Deliveroo so I had to call the restaurant to order, and the lady who took the call was so rude!! If they don't get someone else to take orders they will go out of service! She shouted at me because I asked her whether there was provision to pay by card. And when I told her she didn't need to shout, she proceeded to shout louder and talk over me, so I hung up. I called back to speak to the manager, and she shouted AGAIN then hung up on me. If I could put less than 1 star, I would. Absolutely terrible service.

Do not buy COD fish from there!! The batter was uncooked and the worst cod I have ever tasted. This restaurant isn't as good as it once was. The rice dishes are terrible too.

This has ruined Chinese food for me. Ordered £70 worth of food which all tasted the same - full of salt, sugar and MSG. Half of the food was just onions. AVOID unless you’re looking for a laugh!

Today I ordered food for here the first time , over £15.00, please avoid this place the food it's horrible, I have been vomiting over a couple of hours, feeling so cold and shivering omg. Please avoid this place something wrong with some of the ingredients for sure, colourful but dangerous.Very rude woman behind the counter, i asked the woman to write the names of the food on the boxes and she totally ignored me, she spoke to the men at the back, laughing in her own language and said som words, not very nice the n give me the bag.The chips £2.50 vermicelli and tofu with bean sauce, duck with vegetables no veggie and no duck , more like very salty fake bacon, terrible.

I'm sorely disappointed yet again. Living just 5 minutes drive away I called to ask for an update and the driver had just left. My meal arrived after nearly another 20 minutes. The duck 'filled' pancake rolls were anything but! I ate one but was put off due to a weird smell similar to off meat. Pan-fried dumplings ' dough was too thick. The noodles were awful. Dry and rubbery and absolutely no taste and trying to find meat was trying to find the proverbial needle. Only things half way decent were roast pork buns as my favourite of salt n pepper said were also not good. Strange thick batter made them inedible. I'm so annoyed. Money down the drain.... or rather in the bin!
