La Luna in Southwark

The old school Italian that you remember when you were a child with Italopop playing in the background. No frills just great hospitality and delicious food. Furthermore it’s extremely reasonable price wise. 2 starters, 2 glasses of wine, two mains, 2 desserts and a coffee came to just £53 which is hard to find in London. I’ll definitely be going back.

All the classics in a broad menu, we had calamari, seafood risotto, spaghetti carbonara and chips which were all well sized and tasty (the chips were better than expected!). It was a case of the best being saved to last, highly recommend the chocolate soufflé. Decent value for money and despite it being Saturday night with only one chef and one waiter, the service was prompt and friendly, with the latter announcing another customer's birthday with gusto!

Lived around from 2010 to 2014. One the best foody place around. The pizza is tasty, loved it! The staff is always nice. Back to the uk now, I Will return to this place ASAP.

Such a hidden gem, we live opposite this restaurant and have always been curious to visit, read the reviews beforehand and thought we'd give it a go. Couldn't recommend this place enough! Super nice staff, very fast service even on a Saturday evening. Every dish we had was 10/10 for such good value for money, will definitely be returning. Thank you guys!

New to the area and La Luna was on my bucket list. Did not disappoint! Must try the pizza it’s cheesy with gorgeous flavours, generous portion for the price. The waiter was attentive, the toilets are clean, and complimentary mints were given with the bill. A local gem - will for sure go again.

Our local italian restaurant and has that family run feel. Food is great and the service is even better! Always take friends and family when we have guests.

Excellent value for money and perfect for freshness and excellent flavour. This is a family run restaurant and have been running since 1991, it truly is a gem. I would have dinner here every night if I could!

I made a reservation for 7 people here and they are waiting for me at the door even tho i arrived a bit early. We are seated as soon as we go in with a warm Italian welcome. Menu has great choices with very appealing seafood items. The quality of the food is way beyond the price point. Everyone were very satisfied by the end of the meal with the food and services. True gem in London!

Delightful local Italian restaurant. Ignore the somewhat tatty surrounds as La Luna is a gem not to be missed. I had veal escalope, which was fantastic. My companion had a seafood linguine which was also excellent. Service was swift, efficient and unobtrusive.Highly recommended.

LOVE this place! We ended up staying about an 8 minute walk from here when we were ending our stay in London. We had read great reviews and were not disappointed. We ate here our last 2 nights, it was so good and the staff was very friendly 😁 such a nice group of guys taking excellent care of us. The food wasnt heavy at all, but was so filling at a great price. I was disappointed that I stuffed myself both nights and didnt save room for dessert, because the dessert menu looked amazing as well. Make a trip to this place when you are in London. You wont be disappointed. Full and happy, not disappointed ❤🤘
