Leon - Bankside in Southwark

Another visit to Leon now my favourite place to meet friends for a quick tasty snack.Love the food, the staff at Bankside are fabulous, always make us feel so special. And what a great venue… A special call out to I think his name is Tino what an asset to your companyTobias

Love my trips to this Leon. Exceptionally welcoming and friendly staff who know their customers like old friends so much more than the numbers on the collection screen. The food here is top notch. The freshness and juiciness of the food shows that it’s always cooked to order, never reheated never defrosted .

No view when you sit in front of one of the huge displays. Producing waste with take away cups for having coffee inside. No wifi.

Quick service and very tasty food, very healthy too. The ordering process could be better as you have to use large touch screens which isn't very hygienic.

They have a wide range of products available and the vegan burger was delicious!The place is also welcoming with friendly staff and an interior layout that doesn't smack of cheap fast food. Charging stations and WiFi being available also greatly Improves customer satisfaction

One of our favourite parts of coming to London is getting to visit Leon's. They manage to knock it out of the park on every visit, and the restaurant behind the Tate Modern is no exception. Great food, reasonably priced and with ultra fast service too. Only disappointment is that they don't seem to serve Jackfruit bites any more, please bring them back!

Great location and clean restaurant. Staff were soooo friendly! My life has been changed by the Halloumi wrap.

Quick stop for lunch after a visit to the Tate Modern. Had Chicken Satay rice box and Mango Coconut smoothie. Both delicious reasonable price for central London.

I ordered the sweet potato curry to take away, got a box with the curry label on it, but when I sat down to eat it it was chicken satay! I'm not a strict vegetarian so I ate it and it was good, but if you are vegetarian maybe double check your food before you leave the shop.

Store reccomended for takeaway during COVID lockdown as there's seating outside in front of the Tate to eat the takeaway. Very healthy fast food, lots of delicious choices! They use quality chicken here. We tried the parm chicken burger, which was absolutely yum, but tried also the GFC (gluten free nuggets) and this was probably the best chicken nuggets I've ever tried. Crunchy, loads of meat and love the Aliolí dip. The side-dishes with the baked potato are quite good as well! I am definitely revisiting! Staff was attentive and quick service.
