Love walk cafe in Southwark

Pretty overpriced for a full English that was anything but full. Partly cold, partly charred and a bowl of Heinz beans. If I’m paying £10 I’d like it to have something to it. Feel the same each time I go and each time I hope it’ll be different. Sadly it’s not. Hopefully this time I’ve learnt my lesson.

This is my favourite place for breakfast/ brunch! It takes me over an hour to get here but it's always worth the journey. The sweetcorn fritters are amazing! Sweetcorn fritters, halloumi, bacon, tomato, onions - such a burst of flavours, so much joy in each mouthful. Can't recommend enough!

Place is clean, staff are friendly and attentive and the food came quickly.However, we felt the food was overpriced for the portion size and quality as everything was bland and under seasoned. The veggie breakfast didn’t give you a choice of eggs, instead you had to pay £2 extra in order to have them scrambled.Overall, probably wouldn’t return.

Lovely atmosphere, great menu choice. The fritters were a bit bland otherwise I would of given 5 stars. Will definitely go back again - 'll just ask for more flavour in my fritters.

Went for breakfast and decided to have the pancakes,was really looking forward for it too but was let down by the (Flat) pancake which on the menu it said fluffy,they where just flat and not nice at all. Bacon and eggs where great. The staff are nice and the place is clean and well price and dog friendly too.

Food and drink are nice and we have had great experiences in the past but this time was a shambles with the worst customer service I have ever experienced.Went for a lunch and waited half an hour and nothing arrived, with people who arrived after us being served their orders pretty quickly. Asked one of the staff members about how long the wait would be and they told us our order had only just been put through and accused us of lying about how long we had been there. Ended up waiting 50 minutes for some smoothies and sandwiches.There was no apology for the wait or the rude manner we were spoken, the man just kept accusing us of lying.

My experience with lovewalk cafe (Camberwell) was good, but not the best.The staff are super friendly and welcoming which is lovely, food came pretty quickly which was great and the american pancake breakfast was amazing too. But the issues came with my breakfast:I ordered the full English and the fried egg was pretty crisp not much of the egg left except the yolk. They also forgot my toast. I did ask and it came straight away.My coffee took a while to come and arrived halfway into my breakfast.- Maybe a small improvements: salt and peppers from Lidl are a bargain, but it would look more presentable if they were in differentsalt and pepper pots?- Coffee to arrive a bit quicker, before food?- fried egg not too crispy, so there's more of the egg to eat.
