Mama Thai in Southwark

Very bad service, rushed us to pay before we had finished eating ,as their till was closed and then rushed us to leave when we hadn't finished eating . The lady packing the food to go also touched my food with her hand and got offended when I addressed it. Wish I could give no star's.,the service was terrible

I did not enjoy my meal. The best I had was the sauce that came with the friend soft shell crab (which was more like a Nuoc cham than any Thai sauce I've ever had). The soft shell crab was mostly batter almost no crab. The beef dumplings were bland. For the red duck curry I had to add salt because the sauce was very bland.

Purely on the delivery service. Cold food most of which was spilled by the driver prior to delivery. Quality was pretty dire. Tasteless. Portions very small in comparison to the price. Forced to add extras to individual items (for example choosing a red chicken curry will force you into adding duck, prawns or tofu as an extra). Hoping just a one off!

CAUTION!!!! AVOID!!!I found multiple long hair on the food ans a finger nail or toe nail inside the food!I teported them to uber eats who said they are already investigating them for similer issuesI called the stors to tell them and indian old man who amswered called me racist names amd called me a black c### animal who belongs in a zoo!I will report him to the police in the morning..I actually cant believe this is real and happened to me..very racist old Indian owner.. Everyone should boycot them

Excellent flavours, great choice menu. A raita(flatbread) or 2 with a dish with a sauce is great, jasmine tea is superb or BYOB. The corkage charge seemed a bit high but I can't compare it to anywhere else as I have not done BYOB recently.

Come here tonight with my friend as we fancied something different to eat in the evening after feeling down after my doctors appointment. To make matters worse, I got locked in the toilet for 40 mins before they managed to break the lock after my anxious calls. My friend quite a few times asked for them to call the fire brigade, but they only seemed to care more about costs of the broken door, rather than get me out safe? My friend was a bit put off orfering but the staff still insisted that we order?, so we did. To my shock, they didn't even give a discount off the food after the stress they put me through? They said the lock was faulty before but yet did nothing? Not happy, I could of had a panic attack, yet they only care about business? Not even a sorry for the inconvenience!

Excellent ambience and very personal service. The menu was fresh and delightful. Will absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. Affordable prices and big meals. Keep up the great work.

Only open very limited hours 3 days a week food can be quite poor from the establishment quite a shame really not exactly the best example of Thai cooking

I placed my order through deliveroo at 20:00 and the food didn't arrived until 21:20. When it did arrive, the spicy beef noddles I ordered contained no beef. I don't mean a small amount, I mean it was made incorrectly and contained no beef. I called the restaurant to explain what had happened, and was told that I was wrong and there was beef and if I called back again complaining they would call the police on me!?! (Pictures attached, see if you can spot any beef!)Not even the slightest concern for the customer was shown and it was the rudest I have ever been treated as a paying customer. No refund, no replacement, no smidge of an admission that a mistake could have been made. Don't ever give your hard earned money to these crooks when there are so many other places to go. We ordered a Pud Thai and dumplings as well and from what I did taste it was bland, salty and rubbish, so another reason not to eat here!

Nicely decorated restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and very kind, helpful staff. Food is offered in a great variety, freshly made and full of flavours.
