Booked the Oblix for our anniversary, the food and drinks were delicious, the view was stunning and the staff are so friendly. A little sad that nothing was done for the occasion as we booked specifically for our anniversary, and confused with receiving a birthday dessert? However overall the experience was absolutely amazing.

I can’t give half stars but if I could I’d give 3.5 stars. Overall, it was a nice afternoon but not everything I expected. I booked for my mum’s 65th birthday but that was totally forgotten while we were there. It took 35 mins to be seated for tea. The food and tea really were very good but the service, while lovely, was very slow and our order got forgotten and when it did arrive - after prompting - it was wrong. The highlights were the black tea, the egg sandwich, and the banana macarons. At £49 pp plus 13% tip (£111 for two people), the Shard is lovely but not in the league of Claridges or the Corinthia who only charge a little more but where everything is exceptional.

We had brunch for my wife’s birthday. It was Pretty expensive, but what do you want, you pay for what you get. Top notch service, I liked the starter the main course was average though. Amazing view.

We ordered from the "easy" menu which was 3 courses and a bottle of wine (between 2) for £58 per person. We paid the extra £10 to have prosecco instead. The food was really nice and we enjoyed it. We ordered the "born a star" cocktail and the presentation of it was amazing but the cocktail itself really wasn't anything special and it was overpriced in my opinion. The service was a little slow at first but once we ordered it did pick up a bit.

Oblix west champagne brunch. We had a great time. The waiter who served us was fantastic! Enjoyed the food and drink so much so that we are going back for a friend's birthday in a few weeks.

The views and ambiance are incredible. It was a lovely way to spend the 1st of January. The service was great and the starter and dessert were amazing. The main courses let the menu down a little, the burger was nice but chicken very oily. Prawn cocktail was the best I've had.I booked a window seat but felt the views were limited when sitting eating, the table seemed a little closed off from the rest of the restaurant, good for privacy but a large pillar blocked some views. Overall it was a great experience, I'd definitely go back for drinks.

The overall experience was exceptional. As the food is not halal, we had to stick to fish and vegetarian options, which there were a good variety of. Every dish was perfect with no complaints. We were never presented with a non alcoholic drinks menu and therefore had to assume or ask the waiter but it would be much better if we could see what was available ourselves. The ambience provided the perfect mood with the restaurant design and London skyline views. The ambience gets 4 stars as I wish it was slightly brighter with lighting. Took pictures to remember my anniversary meal but they were too dark!!! The prices were not extortionate for the service and exquisite food available at the Oblix.

We had dinner in the east wing. The food quality was acceptable, apart from the bread they was defrosted and chewy. The staff was very kind to redo a course that was too spicy. There was a DJ playing, but the music was too loud for a dining restaurant, so it was difficult to speak with table companions. The view is not breathtaking since it’s “only” at the 32nd floor. The price was OK for the experience.I suggest it if you want to celebrate something and enjoy a view, otherwise go somewhere else.

If I could give 4.5 I would. Food, staff and setting we're all excellent. The view is obviously amazing, especially for sunset. A little cheeky you have to pay extra for the window seats. That said, knocking down a star due to expense, it was £150 per person for our visit, and despite the vast wall of wines most of my options appeared to be out of stock (the ones at cheaper end of the spectrum too surprise surprise).
