Porky's BBQ Bankside in Southwark

Food, Service and Venue was amazing, my colleagues had a few issues with our booking due to covid, but Nico the general Manager was very helpful and did some amazing work to help shift our booking to different dates. The Beer pong area was so much fun and clean!! also the jugs of beer were a decent price. Would recommend to anyone up for a good night out.

I went there the other week with a large group of coworkers. Food was just okay. At the end there was a mix up with the bill and instead of trying to sort it with us, the server lost his patience, slammed the bill on the table and told us to figure it out. I would have understood his impatience if the restaurant was quite busy, but there was only another small group there so not a big rush.

I love Porky’s! The manager and the employees set a very warm and welcoming environment. Highly recommend this place for groups of friends looking for some good burgers and fries and a good game of beer pong!

Very disappointing. We were completely misled when booking and told that it was a £100 deposit which would then be deducted from the bill. This was confirmed when booking and again by the manager on the night. However, when it came to pay we were then told it was actually a £100 fee for the table. The manager and staff were incredibly rude and defensive. We also asked for the service charge to be removed which they refused to do. Looking at other reviews this is clearly something they do regularly. Would not recommend!

For a Tuesday is was quite quiet, but that did not stop the 8 of us having a good fun time. The food was great, and also the staff were friendly to talk to and responsive. It's well worth checking out!

One of the best places to hang out as a group in London. An array of fun games and a crazy atmosphere. And above all of that is the food. The staff ensure you have all you need to have a memorable time.

Went with my office team. Nico was very hospitable and fun. I am vegetarian so i don't go in with a lot of expectations, but vegan food at Porky's was surprisingly delicious! My colleagues who ordered chicken and pork dishes mentioned the veg option was equally good if not better.The beer pong experience was amazing as well. A fun place to go with friends and colleagues.

Was recommended by some friends that have been when they had a more full menu with ribs and such. (Apparently COVID changed the menu a bit due to availability)For what was there, however, was great. The burgers were really good. Bit expensive total after drinks compared to some other nights out in London. But overall good.Service could have been a slight bit quicker but they were still very nice to us so we appreciate that.

Delicious burger and chips. Fairly small selection of burgers and fried chicken, but excellently done and good value for money. Very friendly service too!

When you are far from home it’s great to find a place that has the style of food you love. The food was pretty decent and honestly made me feel more at home as an American. The wait staff was fantastic. The music was good, but if you wanted to be authentic to Texas and also Cowboys, country is the music you should play. I just feel like people go to restaurants for more than just the food but for the atmosphere too. It should be said though, if it didn’t come out of a pit it isn’t BBQ. If it wasn’t slow cooked in a smoker, it isn’t BBQ. Putting BBQ sauce on items does not make it BBQ. Also, if you are going to claim the ‘American’ style you got to serve American style drinks with plenty of ice. Location is not exactly practical unless you are going and coming from work. I can imagine someone driving into the city just for BBQ.
