Absolutely delicious. Had a great selection of noodle dishes and all served super fast and super lovingly. Order the tomato and eggs, it's not a tough dish to make I admit but silk road do it the best 🤤

A very lively place, serving authentic Uyghur cuisine with generous portions. The hand-pulled lamb noodles are fantastic, and it's great to have so many halal meat options as well as vegetarian. The tofu pudding is the only thing I saw that wasn't made in-house, and it's an acquired taste - but the rest of the food is incredible. No wonder it's so busy, we were given a strict time slot for our reservation but definitely could have stayed all night.

Delicious authentic Chinese food - nothing like a standard Chinese takeaway - and extremely efficient service. Would definitely return!

The food was ok for the price. Everything taste great! We felt rush as the guy said we only have one hour.

Really nice place serving a very different style of Chinese food than most restaurants in the UK. The food sits somewhere between standard Chinese (meats, vegetables and sauces) and the sort of stuff you find in Central asia (fat, homemade noodles and lamb kebabs). There are also dumplings, but no rice at all as far as I recall. It seems pretty cheap, but is very busy - worth booking ahead.

I was introduced to Silk Road by my friend in 2019 and since then I've been going at least once a month (besides lockdown). The food, atmosphere and prices makes this place one of Londons best hidden gems and cheap eats! A Silk Road followed by a Stormbird session is the quintessential Camberwell night out!

Such good value for money, loads of beers loads of food buy great atmosphere. Been back here a few times, really good spot to go with a big group. Hand pulled noodles are great.

Casual/cafeteria dining vibe with amazing food. You get so much for your money (3 of us had a huge blowout meal for £50). The dumplings were the best I've ever had and the menu has so many delicious surprises. I can't wait to go again with every person I know 😂

Tasty, Authentic Chinese food which originates from Xinjiang region. Restaurant was busy on Monday night, service is decent, great value and wide range of dishes. It Is a meat heavy menu - there are options for veggies just far less. Best dish we had was the Fish Skewers (red snapper) which stole the show. Recommend the covered outside area at the back which had a nice atmos when full. Cheap restaurant too, with £1 skewers, £1 Jasmin teas and £2.5 tsingtaos. Twenty quid feeds you fully (we had too much food…) and includes drinks. Sharing recommended.

Authentic, local uyghur cuisine restaurant. Good tasting food overall, hearty and interesting. Go here to experience something completely new and imagine life in the mountains as a uyghur. The big/medium chicken plate is a delicious chicken stew with potatoes and noodles. The broth is so yummy I would definitely reccomend this. But the chicken pieces are very bony as this is traditional way, do if you dont like bones dont get this. The lamb shish noodle wasnt to my taste as had a very powdery texture and was literally meat and noodle. The manager did agree to not charge me for this as I couldn't eat it which was very nice of him. The dumpling are very very nice and homemade. Love the spicy cabbage soo delicious. their noodles are homemade which is fantastic but it does mean that some of them are a bit thick and stodgy. Good taste though. Overall very nice and delicious restaurant and I would recommend.
