I've been to this place a few times. It's a lovely quiet location near Rotherhithe Station. The service was always warm and friendly, and I always enjoyed the food. Had their home made chocolate mousse cake when I went there last time. It was AMAZING. This is honestly my favourite restaurant in London, and I hope they will recover fully from the impacts of COVID and operate at full capacity soon as I really miss their pork belly :) Will keep coming back!

I can not fault this place at all. My experience here was amazing. The food was very tasty and the service I received was outstanding. Will definitely be coming here again. Also a big shout out to the owner, he even educated me on some interesting facts.

Delicious hidden gem. There is outside seating in a nice shaded garden. The menu is brought to you on a chalk board which was a bit quirky but the food is amazing. I had the roast pork and it was quite simply divine. The price was really good value for money.

Great atmosphere, excellent food, nicely unassuming and off the beaten track. However, service can be shocking due to underinvestment in waiting staff.Go during the week when it's quiet and it's a 5 star place, go when it's busy at the weekend and it's 3 stars at best. Please Simplicity, help yourself by getting more waiting staff.

Lovely hidden restaurant with great friendly staff. The chef came and spoke to us and thanked us for our custom. We had roast dinner with pork and slow toast pork belly. Best roast I have ever tasted! Highly recommended

Waited 35 mins for 3 coffees and when they arrived although average, the wait made it seen like there was a good reason for waiting, so we're made that little bit worse. Didn't eat here so can comment on the food. If it was any regular Sunday the time wouldn't be an issue or we would have joke about it but we were time pressured and did issue gentle reminders. However, the décor is old timey and nice as are the staff,, who have great manour and see polite but not the best time keeping skills.

Friendly, local independent restaurant where everything is made from scratch. Goat cheese salad, seabass, steaks, burgers and all desserts are highly recommended. Also recommended are some of the seasonal items like the pies and curries. And reasonable BYOB fees too. Worth the trip.
