Had a pleasant afternoon at the Swan.We had afternoon tea, as part of a voucher deal and the food was quite good.Tye interior is light and bright, with views beautiful over the River Thames. The staff was polite and welcoming and we were seated immediately. We went for a savoury and sweet afternoon tea each. The savoury is quite large but also quite delicious (pic below). We left feeling quite full. Would like to visit again for just a regular meal as most bit if the tea were quite nice.

Amazing meal, lamb saddle a perfect plate to share, well done team.Genuine advice, break floor in sections, we had a wonderful time and got to meet the whole team, however we had a different server through out the evening, so you avoid asking checking back on the same table.

Great location, whatever the weather. The kind of pub you can lose a few hours in. Can't remember the name of the brew we drank but I wish I could. Really enjoyed my fish and chips. If we'd had more time I would have moved onto the Bloody Mary's after seeing the table next door order a few.

What a wonderful experience, went for dinner in the restaurant for my wife's birthday, staff were attentive and friendly. Food was exquisite, pork belly and venison were well worth visiting for. As a surprise, the staff provided birthday truffles with our coffee's. Very nice touch. Well worth a visit, if you're anywhere near the Swan, pop in, you won't be disappointed.

Wow. What can I say about this place? The location, the staff, the food, the drink - all of it was spot on perfect. We came for our team Christmas night, and lucky enough to have the private dining room. It was fabulous. We didn't need to ask for a thing, the staff were so attentive. I would definitely be back.

Bar snacks are delicious in a curious sort of way. Sausage roll is a slice off a giant length, like a swiss roll. The pulled pork brioche was also exciting as I thought the Gherkin was a pepper. The atmosphere and view are unique with antique furniture and the river. "Dottie" was a charm and our service was impeccable. Brilliant finish to the Globe Tour.

Lovely little place on the Thames with great service from our waitress. Sausage roll and truffle chips snacks were lovelyLittle too pricey on the drinks for my liking, especially the Mrs Claus cocktail which was £12 for a champagne flute size.

Had high expectations as beautiful space and menu and reviews lead you to expect more. I went for Sunday roast and wont do that again. It was poorly platted with very little gravy very little flavor. I had to ask twice if it came with other veg. When they brought some it was very roughly steamed carrots broccoli and cauliflower. If you can look for another option that has more care put into the meal.

Very limited, unimaginative menu. Disjointed service between downstairs and upstairs.Update: Reply to Owner comment -----Hi Benoit,Thank you for taking the time to reply and explaining the concept of British venues.Being British - I am familiar with British restaurants that use local and fresh produce to build a creative menu.We tried to order from your bar menu which had more options, however this was not allowed. We also tried to order the set menu - but one person on the table wanted a la carte - and this was also not allowed.I think if there was more flexibility then we would have been happy to order from the different menus that you have to offer with all the options you mentioned. However this was not possible.Hopefully one day we can come back and find better options. Would be keen to see if there has been improvement in future.-------We've been looking forward to try the Swan for years but the right opportunity never came. Sadly our experience was very underwhelming. When we arrived we were greeted by 2 staff members who couldn't find our booking - at the ground floor entrance and at the welcome desk by the bar. So she sat us at a random corner next to a large group of loud revellers. It felt wrong, so I asked again about our booking. In the end the staff realised that we probably booked upstairs and finally showed us where to go.Once the menu came, the options were so disappointing. If the menu could be a colour or flavour - it would be plain, bland, vanilla. Nothing on the menu jumped out as exciting or something we'd love to try.We thought maybe they would surprise us with the quality of food (surely with such a limited menu they must be spectacular) so we decided to try out a few things. The duck came out quite chewy and bland. The tart was pretty but tasted plain. The only saving grace was our table service as our waitress was very friendly. Also the marmite butter that came with the bread basket was delicious. In the end the bill was quite expensive for what was a very underwhelming meal. It felt like money not well spent.--

The service was great and the food was tasty too! We booked just because it had river view, but will be going back for sure! It’s a little pricey, but they serve seasonal dishes and use locally sourced produce which is always good to see! The vegetarian section could use some expansion and I don’t think there were any vegan dishes on the menu.
