Absolutely gorgeous and creative food. Menu is a weird fusion of Thai and other cuisines. Service was fantastic. Highly recommended

The Begging Bowl offers the most delicious Thai menu of small plates for sharing. We chose 8 dishes plus rice for the 4 of us to share. Just the right amount. Good range of meat, fish and Veg and the staff were great. Best Sunday lunch for a long time and a definite recommendation from me. So enjoyed the food I forgot to take any photos. Next time!

It’s our third visit to the Begging Bowl and it’s about their great fusion of flavours and creative recipes. I can recommend their chalk stream trout in banana leaf and charcoal grilled celeriac.

The place is great, waiters are insanely friendly and everything about it is just beautiful and perfect. Food was great, we ordered too much and did not regret it. Menu is full of amazing and well thought out vegan options that my moany boyfriend managed to love. Shout goes to the shiitake broth and the pumpkin curry. All you can eat rice too which is a simple form of joy.

This was an unbelievable experience! The service was incredible, they were so attentive and I was initially worried as you don’t order how much rice you’d like but that was never a problem. When we came in and said it was our first time we were walked around the menu. Asha was so lovely and extremely helpful!I would highly recommend the Seabass and the condensed milk ice cream 😍 😍So good, highly recommend!

I went here with my partner and son to celebrate our 13 year anniversary. We had originally booked up in March post 2020 but had to cancel, as the country went into lockdown, so glad we rebooked and finally got to try this foodie heaven. Lovely interior design. Attentive and friendly staff and the food is outstanding. Really delicious and unique Thai food. We tried about 4 different dishes, they recommend 5. The dishes come with unlimited jasmine rice and we got one sticky rice. I cannot remember the exact names (so will look them up later and edit) of the the dishes we had - a cabbage dish that was packed full of flavour and spicy, a duck salad, really tender duck, a vegetable massuman curry and chive cakes, which were soft and spongy, and delicious. The chives cakes are accompanied with a spicy dipping sauce. Our son had the kids meal option and ice cream which is made from condense milk. I had a mocktail - Thai lemonade, which was fresh and packed full of ginger and lemon. They offer various juice options for children and my son had the pineapple juice. My only down is that there is one option for children. He loved the sticky rice and didn't eat the chicken and beans so much, so we asked to take it home and they happily obliged. I would highly recommend a visit and hopefully, we'll visit again ❤️

Lovely food! Super friendly staff who give out the rice very promptly, menu highlight was the spice mix on the betel leaf and the trout! Would definitely come again!

Nice take on Thai cuisine. The seabass was excellent. Venison was a little on the sweet side, but very good nonetheless. Worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood. The restaurant itself is also very pleasant

BUUUFF! The food is just insanely good. We were recommended the fish and even now (after a few months) I am still thinking about it and trying to figure out what was used. I honestly cannot fault this place at all. It was my first time there and arriving to this beautiful corner restaurant and having many dishes that catered for my pescatraian/vegan diet was fantastic. I just adore you guys, bravo!!

Have missed Begging Bowl during lockdown. The first place we booked to eat once restaurants reopened. The food was very fresh and delicious. We had mussels, mackerel and a Thai larb salad.
