Lovely pub, slightly off the beaten path, with a good selection of innovative (and varied) lagers/beers as well as some hearty food as and when needed. Lovely whisky selection is a bonus as well! It's a great spot in the summer for afternoon sun and a real gem in the winter for a quiter pint away from the bustle of London Bridge/Bermondsey St. The staff are great and both friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Cute little Pub not far away from London Bridge, amazing food and buzzing atmosphere, the service was fantastic. A great selection for the whiskey lovers. Thank you so much Kenny for looking after us,you and your team are the best. We will be back in the new year.

As much as I wanted to enjoy the Smok'd at The Brittannia I don't feel I could. From ordering to arrived at table it was 40 minutes for our starters to arrive, baring in mind our starters comprised of only chicken wings. The starters were basic and were not up to par considering the price per wing/wait time for the immediate area. Especially after such a long wait time, they felt cheap and underwhelming. The mains had obviously been cooked at the same time as our starters, the plates were scorching having been left under a hot lamp for so long and demonstrated the dryness that co-insided with the cook time of the starters. The side dishes were tasty, although having visited Germany and sampled many Currywurst in my time, I felt the amount of curry sauce to be low to cheap. The Thrasher fries also demonstrated an overcooking on the meats time and couldn't warrant the +£5 over the normal fries. The mains of the beef rib were tasty, but, again, dry.All in all, I wanted to enjoy Smok'd but didn't feel I could. As stated to the waiter, I wouldn't be recommending it anytime to my friends and it quickly fell into the category of pubs with exciting but sub-par food.Read into this what you will, but one member of our party visited KFC on the way home to try what they would describe as 'decent wings'.

Absolutely disastrous vegan burger!!! My wife and I were so looking forward to treating ourselves to a gourmet vegan burger for lunch today having seen a cracking ad on Facebook earlier in the week.I cannot begin to tell you how disappointing the burger was; the cheapest burger bun got soggy and fell apart in no time making it impossible to eat with your hands; The vegan chicken filling was like eating rubber bands – totally impossible to chew; the burger came just by itself without any fries or salad…all for the gourmet price of £15!!!! … and it looked nothing like the Facebook ad for the burger. The manager/owner asked across from the bar if everything was OK; when my wife said she didn’t like it at all, he said “well it is a vegan burger!” which I found totally hilarious and sad at the same time.If you don’t have passion and love for your products then you don’t deserve to be in business. On the plus side, he was kind enough to make my wife and myself a lovely mug of tea which we were thankful for as they don’t serve hot drinks.Sadly, SMOK’D at The Britannia should be avoided based on our eating experience and the attitude of the management.

Can’t believe I never knew this was here 😍 so Cozy small and intimate welcoming and looked fun. Really nice burger and the rose must have been good because I am hung over x

The Britannia has a nice atmosphere with a tropical-garden style outdoor seating area. It is a bit quieter than a place right on a busier road, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Prices per head is a London high, expect a pint to set you back 6.5 and the food options, though great tasting, to be a pricy for the portion size too.Overall an enjoyable experience for an occasional visit

Pub is nice enough, and has some good, if intimate spaces, but the menu is severely restricted from their online menu, and it didn't seem like this was unusual

Oh my goodness!! What a roast or as they call it a ‘sm-oast’. Perfectly slow smoked pork with succulent veg and the most amazing Yorkies. I will be back!!

Visited as a tourist from Canada - I asked the bartender what kinda specialities I should try and she recommended the cask ale. I also got a half cider half ale as well (locals will know what I mean ;)). Really great atmosphere.
