Nice and cosy place. My pitt stop for Indian food cravings. Being a vegetarian, I had a lot of options here. The garlic naan clubbed with alburgine gravy was the best of all that i had.

I had Lamb Biriyani, not good. It is like Kichidi.

Friendly and fast service with delicious Idian dishes in one of the nicest areas in London

Very average Indian food with poor service. Was busy when we arrived, and were promised a table in 10 mins that took over 25 to materialise. Sat other customers before us, and would rather argue than offer an apology. Meal hugely average, had better at other many other Indians. Walk to toilets was an experience, was a pretty shabby spot. In summary, don’t bother.

Good food. Ambience is good. Need aircon. The temperature inside was not comfortable

In my first trip to London I decided to try an Indian restaurant close to my hotel. I was not disappointed with Curry Leaf East as the food was flavorful and well spiced. Lamb biryani was particularly good and the lamb was very tender. The atmosphere is cozy and the servers are deliberate and polite. Prices are reasonable and portions are perfect.

Overall, Curry Leaf exceeded my expectations. The food was somewhere between good and very good and the prices were very reasonable. I’ve never understand how places get away with what they charge for naan, but that’s pretty standard, so there it is.Be aware that this restaurant is semi-swanky. I went in sporting jeans and a tee and felt a bit out of place (only because of the decor, not at all by the staff who were very welcoming).

Have visited the Curry Leaf previously and always been satisfied. Even yesterday with it being extremely busy with Christmas merry makers, the service was fast and attentive. The menu has the normal offerings with a bias towards southern Indian dishes. Will happily return in the future.

Lunch for two Friday 24 September 2016 just a little above 40 quid, bargain! Leaving aside some silly comments about service it was very good indeed. Treat the staff with dignity and respect and you will be well rewarded with fast efficient delivery of the food you desire. Snapping your fingers does not lead to snappy service but understanding that rapid delivery of your food is not easy in a short lunchtime period helps. Lunch for two and a very pleasant chat to one of the co-owners brought rich rewards; this is a very fine Indian Restaurant. My chum and I have visited Curry Leaf East several times over many years and it has always been excellent value and a pleasure; well done.
