Good pub. Little pricey. Food looked good but I didn't actually have it.

I've been to this pub twice now. Although it's tucked in a side road very close to London Bridge train station... its quite a lovely place. There's many table seating area at the front on the Street area. And interior has 3 major seating areas ..plenty of space. Our friends hire the function room upstairs that leads to balcony space too. That's quite nice and has a view of The Shard. Staff have been always nice and friendly. They sell their own honey too.

Disappointing experience at a group booking upstairs. Room not set for us (not even enough chairs and tables), no member of staff taking responsibility, one employee telling us it was her last shift and didn't care, food was poor (they obviously weren't prepped for us to come in which was a shame given all the communication beforehand). The manager who we'd liaised with was on-site but "wasn't actually working" (?!) And therefore refused to talk to us about the errors and room issues. Took 45 mins of us hanging by the bar before they sorted it. Our own group actually set the table. Totally not what we had paid for or expected. None of us in our group of 22 will be returning!

A bit of the beaten track, late Victorian independent pub with a lot of seating outside. It is worth popping in for a drink and a nibble. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the food. My Stilton, spinach and mushroom pie in particular wasn't tasty. The pastry was soggy and doughy and the filling too thick with hardly any spinach in it. At £16 and served with some mash and garden peas and lukewarm gravy it didntfeel like good value at all. My companion's beef burger was OK but a tiny colseaw salad didn't look appealing. We liked our onion rings that we shared (though some may find them a bit too greasy) I would rate the food 3 stars but it is a nicely located place, it was relaxed and friendly I like supporting independent pubs. Perhaps the chef didn't have a good day. ;)

Lots of outside seating, lovely atmosphere, although the view is limited. We failed miserably as we used the Group Tab to order our food. As we ordered individually, the food and beers did not come altogether. Besides that, kudos for the owner of the pub to professionally get a drunk dude of the terrace.

A friend who is unable to eat gluten asked one of the staff if there were any gluten free options on the menu at lunch time. He apologised saying unfortunately they couldn't say with confidence that anything was gluten free due to the way the kitchen is arranged. However, he kindly said that she could bring in some food from outside seeing as there was nothing he could serve her. We were all very pleased.Sadly, shortly after my friend arrived with some outside food another member of staff came and told us off and would not accept our apology despite explaining that another member of staff had given us permission. This member of staff left us in peace briefly in order to get another member of staff to tell us off again. Most perplexingly the second member of staff who came to tell us of kept claiming that we had been asked 4 times to not eat outdoor food, with no basis as far as we could tell and was generally very rude.It was the most rude I've ever experienced a member of bar staff being.

Booked for a works do. We were placed on the terrace. Toilets were on the ground floor, which I wasn't aware of at the time of booking. Toilets were clean, just need modernising.Lots of space on the terrace. Had a large canopy in case of too much sun or rain.Drinks and food is very expensive!Customer service was good.I would book again, but would think twice due to cost of drinks and food

A hidden gem off the bitten path!Cute and cosy little pub with friendly staff and a very happy resident cat. They have a great selection of ciders, beers and ales. Decent food, including some vegetarian options.Customers can also play darts and watch sports here. Lively atmosphere. Seating spaces indoors and outdoors.

This is a wonderful pub tucked away behind Guys Hospital, unless you know about it, you'll never stumble across it by chance. Breakspears beer is unusual in London, but it kept really well here, but it was the reasonably priced food that impressed us, the sausage and mash was wonderful and where else can you get a homemade (not packet) fish finger sandwich? The building is historic and the staff friendly and helpful. I just wish it were my local.

Great pub, gonna miss it when we move office. Tucked away from London Bridge. Loads of space inside and out. Good selection of beers on tap. Accessibility in terms of the bar, but no access to the toilets. Only gripe is they charge when you pay with a debit or credit card. This sort of charge needs to go to the bank, not to the user.
