I made an impromptu visit and was welcomed by the lovely Bruna at the bar and was promptly seated. The amazing Alessandra who is the General Manager and expert sommelier along with the equally knowledgeable and very polite Lewis guided me through the wonderful 5 course taster menu with the most brilliantly paired wines - all very refreshing and unique. Allesandra's passion for the various wines was extraordinary as she outlined the various bio dynamic ones in addition to each vineyard's ethos and production processes. Anoushka joined later and presented the very delicious dessert with the pairing dessert wine. Again very knowledgeable and welcoming as the whole crew. Lovely feel good restaurant and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you Bermondsey Larder. I'll certainly be back..probably next time for one of Allessandra's wine tasting monthly classes ! 😊.

This team deserve a lot of praise. Everything from the service to the food was SPOT ON! Each dish lived up to the next and it was fantastic value for money. The team were knowledgeable, attentive and super friendly. Will 100% come back

Very high quality produce and creative cooking. Venison was phenomenal as well as the smoked eggplant dip if you like eggplant. Cocktails are great and different of what is served elsewhere. Very attentive and helpful staff. Nice, bright and airy setting away from the main street.

Bermondsey Larder is now my new favourite restaurant in the Bermondsey/London Bridge area. A bit away from the trendy hotspots - but worth the few minutes extra walk from the station to get there. Nice ambiance - wonderful high ceilings and well spaced tables. You can talk without having to yell to fellow dinners if you have a noisy table close by, as happens in many smaller restaurants in the area. We also didn't feel like we needed to vacate the table the minute we swallowed our last mouthful. We had the tasting menu which was excellent value for the high quality of the food and the service was impeccable. Friendly, unpretentious staff who were all knowledgeable about the food. We will be back to try the a la carte soon.

I was excited to try this place which pitched itself as a local farm to table restaurant. We booked to sit outside but there wasn’t any lighting at all. Not wanting to sit in the dark, we sat inside instead. The waitress was lovely. Drinks were very good - I ordered a cocktail which was beautifully presented and delicious. I watched the drinks go out the bar all night and they all looked great. We had the pickles (fine, but overly sweet) and rosemary and potato bread with smoked butter which was very good. I ordered the skate. It was dry and under seasoned. The beans were tasteless and vegetables oddly slimey. I returned it and they took it off our bill. My family both had the duck, which came extremely rare. They enjoyed it but didn’t feel good later that evening. Both dishes were recommended by our host.I’m only writing this review because my experience was so different from the other reviews here. I feel like I went to a totally different restaurant. Maybe we went on a bad night?

Excellent tasting menu and wine pairings, very reasonably priced. The wines were all really interesting and diverse. The food delicious and complimentary to each other and not too much in succession. Lovely courtyard and nice decor in Bermondsey Locke. The venison nuggets with mushroom ketchup, sea bass and the tomato salad were all standout. Also loved the sourdough potato bread (I immediately thought there must be someone irish behind this - dream combo) with the bean spread and pickled radish. Great addition to the area. We all left very happy. Thank you.

Another gem in the Robin Gill series. The bread, as always was amazing. The potato being present in the bread still was a bit of a different touch that I’m not fully convinced about. The lamb was amazing, with the green garlic and onion being my favourite addition to that plate. The artichokes were possibly my favourite dish of the day with an amazing olive oil mayonnaise.

Special restaurant attach to a trendy hotel tucked away off Tower Bridge Road. Food was exceptional, but it was the staff that made it. A joy for us and a joy for them. Perfect spot for celebrating and impressing dates..

Lovely little suntrap hidden at the back of the new Bermonds Locke Hotel. With a few heaters, blankets and hot water bottles - its set up well for the chilly spring weather. A little odd being so close to a building site, but when you can eat inside it'll be a real game changer. Beautiful restaurant with friendly and enthusiastic staff - still trying to iron out a few kinks in the service but the effort is there and the food is delicious.

Was taken to The Dairy by a friend who knew them from their previous location. Was very pleasantly suprised by the venue and the lovely food. It offers a small plates menu with a good choice of meat fish and veggie foods, with delicious flavours. Our waiter had exceptional knowledge of his foods and wines when asked but without being imposing. A very pleasant experience all round.
