I had my mothers wake here a few weeks ago. The staff were very sensitive to the situation and well organised. We were given lots of private space. The food was tailored to our needs and budget and the parking was very useful as the service was at the church across the road. Many thanks to all the staff!!

Staff friendly, nice fire going, unfortunately the food took forever to arrive, no-one approached us in that time to apologies or explain or even ask if we would like more refreshments. When the food arrived my mum ordered sea bass but got salmon with no explanation, our roast came without roast potatoes and that was rectified. My 10 year old grandson pointed out that no staff came to us to ask if everything was OK etc during our meal. We ordered extra fries which came after the plates were cleared. Finally management came and removed the charge for fries and offered some explanation as to the not so great service and made attempts to appease.

We’ve always had the warmest reception at The Plough. Food has been good ‘pub grub’ and the staff are always doing their best to make your visit enjoyable. Emily and Ava are our fave members of staff…always good when they serve our tables and our dogs get extra special attention from them too! Looking forward to the Plough’s refurb. It’s a great location and a bit of a hidden E. Dul treasure.

I had an Amazing experience and dinner 🤪Honestly, the music is chill, good vibes and the staff is adorable. I had a “ Chicken Schnitzel “ and it was delicious 🤤 . Thanks to Emilie and Arthur who served me with gentleness . I will for sure come back 😊.

Staff were lovely but meals pretty pricey for what they were. The beef pie with mash and greens was very disappointing. The fish and chips and burger meals looked better and a decent size. Dog friendly venue so don't be surprised to see a number of dogs in the restaurant.

Friendly and helpful staff. Can definitely recommend the fish and chips, which was delicious. My partner had the full English Breakfast and seemed to love it. Good sized portions. Surprisingly quiet for a bank holiday Monday when the food is so good.
