The Pommelers Rest in Southwark

Found this place when sightseeing. To my surprise it was actually pretty good and was reasonably priced considering the location! The fish and chips were cooked just right and had a good taste. The burger was tasty and was cooked well. When visiting again, I will probably pay this location a visit again.

Very good customer service, clean and good space for the family to chill and eat. The food was well cooked, tasty and had gd portion sizes. Mediteranean salad along with steak was different yet yummy. One of the Best experiences at a weathers so far. And all for a gd price too. Thank you

If I could put 0 stars I would have my steak well done came pink after my wife had been served. So was told we will replace they didn't just re grilled it wife had finished her meal she then sat and watch me eat mine so poor pummeled so poor

We had a few sides to nibble with a glass of wine. Both the grilled Houdini and roasted veg were shocking. Even the waitress agreed that she would cook them better. The response from the on duty manager was disappointing. He didn't appear to care about our experience and didn't apologise, Instead he just walked off.

Enjoyed the meal . Gurmer burger was delicious, very juicy and made just the way I like it. My hubby had a steak and again mouth watering 👌

Top marks from me for this branch of Wetherspoons.Everything was excellent about my visit, friendly welcoming and informative staff.The food came quickly after being ordered and to be honest the Beef Madras exceeded my expectations. The meat was tender and succulent, the rice perfectly cooked and the naan and poppadums were also top notch.This place is very well looked after by a very attentive staff, it's clean and bright and the tables get cleared very quickly.I even had a grandstand view of the lovely Christmas Light display at the top of The Shard so that was a bonus!Highly recommended by me. This is a great spoons pub. Very easy to find. Typical spoons experience. If its so good why do I give it 3 stars. Well the answer is simple. I have been going to the Knights Templar on Chancery Lane. That is the gold standard of pubs to which all over pubs are compared against ergo the 3 star rating. On its own I would give it a 4.

Nice size pub with plenty of seating. Staff were very friendly and accommodating with our order. Ordered burger and chips for lunch which was very tasty. Not too at the time, mid afternoon but I can imagine it being very busy in the evenings. I highly recommend a visit.

Now this little gem of a was a fantastic find. We went in and were immediately struck by how nice and clean the place was. Then the team of staff were very welcoming. The food drinks were lovely. Again the staff were very friendly and attentive. And the place was spotless. I watched a member of staff clear up after a customer left, and they knew how to really clean the table with attention. Easy access toilets. Could not have asked for more.It is now my go-to place on every visit form now on.Go Team PommelersKevin

The table wasn’t cleaned but there were like one hundred people in there so well. The app ordering was well working, food was ready pretty fast and tasted excellent
