Nice clean pub, decent food, good sized portions. Good place to go if you're visiting the Imperial War Museum, easy walking distance. Friendly staff and management and very good Guinness and a nice big pot of tea😊

Tom and Margaret catered for a family funeral party, nothing was too much trouble for them.The buffet that they laid on was excellent with drinks well priced, we will definitely visit again when next in the area.Many thanks for making a difficult day a lot easier.

Came here for the Sunday roast. Very generous portions, friendly staff and all round pub. Food service was extremely fast, I would definitely recommend coming here if your around E&C area.

I'm not a pub goer but this is a really good place to enjoy a proper pub atmosphere. It's well run clean and the food and drink are excellent. Thanks to the staff and owners for an excellent evening.

Lovely place to have a birthday, had my mums 50th and my aunts 40th there. They let you hire for free, and have a nice outdoor area too. Owners are really nice and attentive. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to hire somewhere!

I liked its local... very local... Charm. In an area that's undergoing an immense transformation, this pub maintains its timeless vibe I was surprised at how many spaces and rooms there are, so when we stumbled into the karaoke bar we just stumbled out into another quieter seating area

My absolute favourite pub in the E&C area (and probably in London)! Wonderful staff, hearty and delicious food (very meaty pies!) and overall super friendly, cozy and welcoming atmosphere for all the neighbourhood community. Can eat / drink / play billiard and watch football with friends, - a must go location for anyone living at E&C!

The Pub was very festive I went with my knitting group we had a lovely time. The food was fabulous 👌 and plenty of it. A few took home doggy bags because there was so much. I'll be going again because it is local and will definitely recommend it.

Visited the PofW for a funeral reception this week. The service and hospitality was second to none. The food they provided was excellent.The pub is traditional which certainly makes a pleasant change from the many High Street bars with little atmosphere.Good Luck for the Future !
