Nipped in for a quick pint after work and it felt very average. Limited selection of draft beers but the one I got was nice. The feel of the place was not great and the table we sat at was sticky

It's Spoons so what can I say? Food wise If you want a cheapish lunch and cba to bring lunch to work then whereelse. Loads of food selection (I wouldn't try the fake nandos though - chicken was bland and burnt on the outside the skin was crisped!) Always see the locals having a beer and that but I don't think I'll come to have a drink on a Friday Evening (never had done after working in E&C for many years) Best snacks are the chicken wings!

Visited this Wetherspoons on 6th March with my partner. When we walked in the atmosphere felt horrible, the place didn't feel clean and it looked like an old bingo hall that had just been filled with tables, chairs and a bar. We finally found a seat and ordered food and drinks.Whilst waiting for our food we were looking at the decor from our seats and couldn't help notice the ceiling falling apart all over the place and how badly it needed renovating. Finally our drinks arrived but were taken to two different tables first asking if they had ordered them (do they not know the location on the system of the table?), followed by our food a little while later also being offered to other tables first. This seemed to be a thing that the waiter kept doing with several peoples orders. The food was standard hence the 1 star, before the food this Wetherspoons did not warrant one star. Also having ordered a little pizza that came uncut we weren't given anything to cut it with. Before leaving me and my partner both nipped to the toilet one after the other. Down this long hallway which felt horrible and unsafe for some reason, probably because you felt a little on edge from when you entered the venue. If they renovated this venue and set up a system that works regarding delivering orders to the correct table then I may come back and reevaluate my review but until then it will remain. So far "WORST WETHERSPOONS IN THE UK"

Enjoyed our lunch here, interesting menu and food delicious. Also reasonably priced. Lovely helpful staff. You could see into the kitchen and it all looked calm and controlled, would definitely return.

Decent enough pub to sit with a few mates and few drinks for relatively decent prices. Can't complain much. Its simple and there for gathering before moving on in my eyes. Good meet up.

I generally avoided Wetherspoons in the past. However during Covid they had an app to order food & drinks to the table, making it contactless and safer. They also have Outside seating.Food is really good and decent selection of beers.Toilets could be cleaner but overall I have to say what more would you need from a good pub?

This pub is a little bit rough around the edges and in definite need of some modernisation. We found it quite unwelcoming and some of the staff were badly trained and didn't understand what to do or understand English very well.I have been to many Wetherspoons pubs around the country and I know what to expect from them so I was quite disappointed. That said I did finally enjoy a nice mix of beers from their Bi-annual real ale festival, I just will not be in a hurry to return.

Polite staff. Shame no jacket potato available & chips were lukewarm. Though for the value and overall taste, can’t complain.2nd visit nice ‘Tikka Masala’ meal, great value (poppadoms were underwhelming though)

My friend and I stopped off at the rockingham arms.He had fish and chips but.Look at the lack of fish he had. More like batter and chips. Certainly wont be eating or going there again.I myself had nothing to eat. He paid for fish but only hot half a fish . Very very poor
