The Victoria Inn in Southwark

A perfect Sunday - the roast beef was cooked perfectly! And of course great service from Jo (as always) who always looks after us so well :) highly recommend!

Cool pub for a drink with a nice atmosphere, but food was fairly disappointing. The vegan platter cost £15 but mostly consisted of toasted bread and the amount of tofu was measly, not sure what I paid for. The vegan burger was decent but again very pricey. On the positive the staff member was very friendly!

With my wife needing specialist surgery at Kings Hospital Fetal Unit finding somewhere nearby without costing the earth whilst also being high quality wasn't easy, then this little gem of a place was found. While my stay was 4 nights I only spent 2 nights here, slept at the hospital in a chair for the others to support my wife with toilet trips and cups of tea! That said I still made the trip back for breakfast eat morning , a shower then returned to be by my wife's side. I also returned in the evening a few times for an evening meal.You couldn't get in any different. In the day a quite tavern with an amazing atmosphere and appearance then come the evening it was jam packed and whilst I hadn't booked a table, they was able to accommodate and the food came very quickly, hot and to any special requirements (the steak was cooked to perfection!).The room was very comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom.The staff was super friendly and could tell they enjoyed working there, there was just a buzz they gave off when speaking to you and interacting with other guest being hotel guest or pub guest.I would without a shadow of a doubt recommend anyone to stop here.

Lovely warm and welcoming place even on a cold Jan night. Intimate even though a large place and you can talk to people without the need to scream at them because the music is so loud. Food is excellent too. Go visit. A little tucked away but a treasure to find!

Love this dog friendly 'Tavern in the Town' food is to die for - I want to marry the chef! Me a d my dog Archie hope to have our Christmas lunch there this year - so long as Boris doesn't cancel it again...

Nice place, but no one turned up to serve breakfast till 7:30 although it was advertised at 7. The chef served us herself which was very kind and the waitress, when she arrived at 7:30 was very efficient.

Decent pub on Bellenden Road. 4 cask beers on tap when I visited. Interesting menu including vegan and vegetarian options. A few tables outside some of them covered. The pub also operates as an hotel.

Very beautiful clean and warm place.Good service and a variety of fresh food and drinks/wine.Very kind, friendly and hardworking staff.Toilets were very clean and had a different baby changing area too. I would visit again

Hadn’t eaten here for ages and was so pleasantly surprised when we visited last week. The staff were super welcoming, there was a wide array of drinks on offer and the food was great. We will be back.
