Only 5 minutes walk from Borough Market but this hidden away restaurant is perhaps the areas best kept secret. The food is fresh, made with love and very tasty that even the Vietnamese rate it. My go to is the Pho which is full of flavour and goodness that I swear it's the best tasty medicine and the summer roles are made fresh in front of you and perfect for a snack or side.Just love, love, love this place!

Really good for a quick café style Vietnamese food fix. They’re fast, very tasty, and they have all the sauces and fixings you want that go with each particular soup.

I’ve always had an excellent experience at Union Viet, from the mouthwatering food to the friendly service and the general casual vibe.The food is wayyy better than any of the chains out there and clearly freshly cooked. I keep coming back here so I can try everything!Highly highly recommend this family-run restaurant.

This is by the far the best Pho I’ve ever had! I get the vegan pho every time. The broth is simply exquisite and such a lovely selection of veggies and tofu. Fantastic portion size for an excellent price. Please open Sundays! I very much miss living close, it’s now a treat I have whenever I am nearby! I’ve had both delivery and in the restaurant and both are great!

What a lovely restaurant! We were made to feel very welcome. The staff were super friendly with lots of tips of what to try. The food was sensational! Thank you we will be back soon!

Delicious authentic Vietnamese food. Everything we had was amazing, especially the savoury pancakes wrapped in herbs and lettuce. Super friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend.

I was in such a rush yesterday , needed grab anything to eat on my way to work. I randomly bumped into this cute cafe. The cafee lady notice I was rushing to pick something to eat . With quick straight forward communication ,she helped me pick something. Meanwhile my cab was 2mins away but the food arrived so quick so it all worked out. Service was 10/10 honestly lovely staff. I got a sandwich and let me tell you I DO NOT REGRET IT. It was amazing , unique flavours and perfect spice level. I can’t wait to try more. I was really lucky to have found this place.

The food was okay, I wouldn’t say it was cooked fresh just based on how quickly it came out. The service was almost non-existent. It’s a cute little cafe though and has potential.

Amazing local Vietnamese restaurant in SE1. It’s so much handy for lunch with an Authentic special Banh Mi. For sure I will recommend Union Viet to all of my colleagues.

Nice quiet vietnamese restaurant. They have a large variety of food/drinks: from steamed buns to phos and baguettes. The price was fair and the staff was really nice :)You have some seats available outside if you fancy too.I recommend this place !
