Viet Cafe in Southwark

This place is so, so, so good. During the week they have the standards, and then on weekends they make pho! Killer iced Vietnamese coffee too. 😍

Went for lunch with a colleague. Had delicious crystal rolls and 2 prawn dishes (grilled and curry) with rice, both delicious and generous amount to share. If you are around King's hospital and fancy a nice lunch, go there.

As someone with a Vietnamese flatmate at uni, I know GOOD Vietnamese food! But this....I felt submerged in the cultures and flavours of Vietnam. This food was as authentic as it gets and incredible prices for the heart of London. Was a 10/10 experience and the owner was extremely friendly and kind to me. Will be back for my pork belly banh mi after a long shift at work!!

My wife and I make a Saturday pilgrimage here to have the special Pho which is only available on weekends; totally delicious and inexpensive. Viet Cafe is a stumbledupon real jem offering the unusual combination of plentiful and healthy food for a surprisingly low price and an unassuming front.

Delicious and authentic bahn mi, perfect for lunchtime treat, though I wouldn't mind more filling in the bread. The service was fast and efficient so I wouldn't worry if there's a bit of a queue as it will move fast, although the staff could be a little more friendly. There's some indoor and outdoor seating too, and you can just walk in if there's a table free, to order at the till. Keen to go back and try the pho and fresh spring rolls.

The chef is cooking my food. she is talking on the phone and doesn't wear a mask. I'm worried that a lot of my food is spitting down. The food is really good. I like their Grill pork with rice very much. The food will not be very expensive and the business is also very good, but I feel disgusting and I feel that my saliva is spraying in. I sincerely hope that I can improve this problem next time

food it's great.. .The prawn,beef and rice with marinated side carrots and cucumber is my favourite.Downside customer service very poor especially from the owner herself quite rude to the customers.Payment methodCash onlyNo £50 note???? The world today is cashless!!!.

Staff are friendly and there is quite a bit of seating. A range of Vietnamese cuisine but I’d defo choose the banh mi here as it’s so delicious. Also definitely give the Vietnamese coffee a try if you have a sweet tooth.

Ordered a pho special and Vietnamese filter coffee. The pho was fine, sadly the soup wasn’t hot enough. The coffee tasted nice but too sweet!!
