Amazing food and delicious cocktails! We turned up without a booking on a busy Saturday night and the staff were eager to accommodate us and also moved us to the bar so we could continue to enjoy the evening when the table was needed. My partner tried out some of the japense whiskeys we he thought were great also and it was nice to have that as a tasting option. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back!

The New Year's menu was amazing! Especially aubergine dynamite beef and black cod. We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Really glad we are able to come back, sit, relax and enjoy. Food is always on point and consistent. Staff is super friendly, warm and welcoming. Everyone works really hard and it's nice to watch the Chef's at work if you sit up front. Lovely sushi rolls, cocktails, saki and desserts. We will be back!31/12/2021 - spent our New Years eve here and the food, staff were amazing as usual. Happy New Year to the team!

Once again Yama Momo didn’t disappoint. Gorgeously fresh sashimi, sensational sushi (particularly the tuna and truffle mayo and the salmon and sea bass nigiri) hot light black cod tempura, chilli squid and a whole lot more! The 20% off at lunchtime was an added and unexpected bonus. Service was friendly and fantastic and made for a really enjoyable lunch. So pleased this is one of our locals and that it was buzzy and busy yesterday as so keen for it to stay.

Outstanding sushi restaurant. My girlfriend and I had the best sushi we ever had, full stop. The dishes presentation is pleasing to the eye and very sharp. The service is outstanding, delivered with humor and know-how. Thank you Yama Mono, you made our evening!!!

My friend used to work here and thank god, because otherwise I might never have been introduced to Yama Momo! The food was gorgeous, as usual. Massive, massive shout out to Andrea who was the only one behind the bar and absolutely SMASHING it!!! Woman, you are a wizard with those flavours and pure skill. *Chef's kiss* 👌👌and also a huge shout out to Steveen, Ricardo, Bessem and Gabrielle, who are brilliant people and provided the most excellent service. Amazing Japanese food and my favourite local restaurant! The sushi and black cod are high-end and the service is always great. Would also recommend the volcano lobster roll

Food was great, the cocktails we had seemed a bit on the sweet side, but impressive presentation. Good Sake selection, very tasty. Overall a great local neighbourhood find!

AMAZING Japanese place!!! Food was unbelievably good. Went for dinner and our group got lobster sushi roll, vegetarian sushi roll, pork belly, tofu with mushrooms/truffle, chicken gyoza, vegetable tempura, and a mango/passionfruit cheesecake to finish it off.We were wow-ed!
