Friendly Dolphin in Sutton

Probably the best plaice (geddit?!!) in Sutton for fish and chips. Unfortunately it isn't cheap as chips as the average fish and chips dinner will cost over £10 but it remains reasonable. They insist on cash only and don't accept cards. One doesn't have to be a tax accountant to figure that one out.Updated. As of 13 June 2022, payment cards are now accepted.

Prices have gone up, quality has gone down. My 3 savaloys were hard and very over cooked, plus coating was coming off in my hand.However freindly owners.Would recommend if you dont mind this type of service.

Good food but rude customer service unfortunately. I said I wanted a small cod. Got served and charged for a large. Then basically told I need to pay more attention. Very rude staff particularly the woman. Clearly overcharging people as their footfall is reduced. Would check your change and avoid at all costs.

Great to see this place open & setup for safe business. Clear signs and perspex screen in place.Open between 5pm - 9pm Monday to Saturday.They are still cash only.Friendly service appreciated!

Sells great food for amazing prices, I had lunchtime deal which was medium fish, chips and drink for £5! Last week, I went to a different fish and chip shop, had the same meal, but cost double the price and was no where near as nice.The gentlemen serving me was polite and friendly and dished up our food incredibly fast.Lily J

This is the best fish and chips in Sutton. Not only is the food absolutely lovely the staff are amazing and friendly. Definitely worth eating in their little seating area too!Family friendly
