Ivory Lounge - Sutton in Sutton

Great ambiance, ample sitting space with good variety of fresh food.Loved the Gyoza and Calamari sticks as starters and then Fish finger wrap with fries. The staff is very hospitable & warm.Lovely place to sit and relax & enjoy your meal.

Normally I would say that Slug and Lettuce is a nice pub, nicely decorated with great offer for cocktails. However, on a Friday night I was refused entrance just because I was alone, of course didn't insist. I wasn't drunk and it was around 8.30pm. At first I just went away but on reflection I think this is discrimination. Why can't we go to have a drink or maybe a meal on a Friday night if we are alone?? Is the pub only for couples?. They must have a reason but not sure if should seak legal advice on this matter. On the other hand, I went to a different pub, still alone, and there was no problem. Something is weird about this rule and we need to understand why is in force.

Great atmosphere and music, great food and drinks, great price. Bar staff and door staff were super friendly. We had an amazing evening!

I’ve been in a couple of times over the last month and all the staff were fabulous but Niamh stood out by a mile. She was friendly, chatty and attentive on both of my visits. She is an absolute credit to your staffing.Joe and Dan (I believe the DM) were also very friendly and welcoming the last time I was in.

Had a great night out for my 21st birthday. Amazing team behind the bar and great cocktails. Would definitely recommend to others looking to celebrate a special occasion.

Decent pub. However security / door men dreadful.Seemed to want to beat people up as bored due to pub being 90% empty. No idea on drinking up time, think they can chuck you out after just ordering a drinkThey need to be more reasonable and understanding.Shame that security staff are ruining a quite decent pub 👎👎👎

Thank you so much for making mine and little one's baby shower such a special memory. Your venue is lovely and the staff were so nice. Everyone had an excellent time. Kind regards Tara

Thank you so much to all of the team at Slug and Lettuce Sutton for hosting our baby shower yesterday. Your staff were amazing, service fabulous, and you really went out of the way to help us create the perfect setting to celebrate our friends imminent arrival.

We were served by Alex, Chloe and Caitlin for brunch. They were so welcoming and friendly while always being very professional. All in all fantastic customer service from them. Will definitely come again. We stayed later and Dylan was then serving us and he was such a character. So lovely and funny and made our night a laugh.

Great food and drinks. Fab atmosphere. It was great to get out after so long; laugh, dance and enjoy good company.
