Mellows Pavilion Cafe in Sutton

We had our daughter’s birthday party here and we’re blown away by the great experience. The party package is brilliant value, the children had a great time and the food was lovely. The adults were ordering pizzas and drinks from the cafe. There isn’t a negative thing to say about the experience, I would highly recommend it.

Lovely place, good place for kids to play around on a big ground.

Great cafe with lovely ice cream and coffee as well as more substantial meals. Excellent outdoor garden with tables and chairs and lots of children's toys too! Can't wait to visit again!

Came recently and the facilities for kids to have a run around or play some swing all are a great idea. Found the staff friendly. My issue comes from the Tuna and Cheese paninis I received. The lack of filing was staggering. In hindsight I wish I had gone and said something. I just didn't have the time to queue up again etc... Please give people a fair amount of filling. I felt like I had a plain panini. I'm sure it doesn't always happen.

Just popped in for a coffee. What a fantastic little place!! There was both a lady and a gent behind the counter that I interacted with and both were outstanding. Absolutely solid customer service. They made me feel right at home. This cafe is in a prime location in the park. They have food, drinks and a lovely ice-cream counter.Oh and they even serve wine. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Very nice and clean, best tuna melt I have ever had.

Friendly staff, nice environment for families with children. Hot drinks not amazing.

I don't want to click on 1 star as well based on the experience I had here today, I wish there was a negative rating. Rubbish customer service, we were accused of eating a baguette and telling them it was not given to us. We ordered our food and sat outside as the weather was nice, we got 3 of things that we ordered and the baguette never arrived. The waiter made a face as though we were lying and when the baguette finally arrived the person who got it said "Here is your Baguette if you haven't had it" it is outrageous, racist and ridiculous. Ruined our morning and the rest of the day. Never coming here ever again and if you are people of colour be ready to be accused.

Nice cafe, seating inside and outside, the staff are friendly. A nice selection of food, drinks and ice creams. This cafe also has and alcohol & music license. The venue is also available to hire for kids parties, in the garden area they have a party hut and a section of garden which is segregated for party games etc. the cafe is dog friendly which is a bonus.

We booked a table here for my daughter’s birthday and I was really impressed. The table was set up when I got there, and was moved away from the other tables/guests upon request with no issue. There was loads of room for the kids to run around, but given it was self contained space, it also felt safe. Lots of games to keep them entertained too - sandpit, connect 4, swingball, and a race track, and lunch went super smoothly with all the food arriving at the same time, piping hot and with plenty of ketchup 😊 My daughter had a great time and I would happily recommend!
